I actually looked up the lyrics and found a very deep interpretation: The song talks about our world and how cruel and twisted it can be. The Mirror represents a self reflection of your inner demons, the things that control your life. This song made me face those demons and face my own mirror head on. This is why I love Nerdcore. Video games can tell a deep story or message, and it's even more powerful in the form of music. Which is also why this guy is one of my top favorite artists of all time. Whoever's fighting their inner demons and have been shot down by the mirror, don't give up yet. Keep going. Fight for your own life, don't let those demons control you. It's your life. You got this. I would point to this as an example of how Will's music can be completely stripped of the game context and people can still take something away from this. Perhaps a battle with ones own thoughts and struggles with self worth or love, making the world around them seem grey and lifeless. And once a close one comes in and helps you be your best self and happy again does the world stop feeling so grey. Idk that was my takeaway, but regardless this is a beautiful song that really deserves more love

I honestly love the song & the music video, I really like how everything shown was a reflection of real life & also the game, granted I have never played any of the Dying Light games. It was also pretty cool to see Will's daughter participate in a music video, which was something I didn't expect but found it to be pretty cool. Side Note: I found it funny that Will's daughter tried to draw DovahCom & she ended up hating it by crumpling it up. As an artist who does the classic style of pen & paper . . . I can honestly relate to that exact feeling of drawing something & hating it or simply just messing up & crumpling it up any way but hey thats just the process an artist has to go through sometimes.
