You might not have ever heard this, the most metal solo in a pop song.
Down at McDonnelzz by Electric 6.
I've cued it up just before the solo kills. ruclips.net/video/_8kaMEUkX70/видео.html
The whole album's actually quite murderous, and has THE BEST NAME for an album in the history of recorded music...

Glen Tipton is a criminally underatted guitarist. From Rock Rolla to Killing machine and to Ram it Down and Painkiller.... he is not as ''clean'' as Ritchie Faulkner who is a younger generation of guitarists, but his evolution as a guitarist is imperssive. The Maiden guys sound the same on the solos 45 years now, while Kirk Hammett actually de-evolved as a soloist.

Brilliant selection, brilliantly played, pleasantly surprised to see a Slipknot solo. Octavarium would have been great to see your take on that.

What i love about the Trooper Solo is it blends into the main riff at the end, it seems organic ;p

As a non guitar player.... this video just helped me gain a basic understanding of guitar tabs by playing along with the video. Reading sheet music always looked like blobs of ink to me. Tabs seem a lot more intuitive.

My dude, there is no doubt that you are a top-tier player! Your hands look so relaxed while playing these ridiculous lines and you play them so clean. How about an outtake reel with lots of swear words to prove you are actually human!?
