As someone with a fondness for the original trilogy, this is the only one of the CGI sequels I would consider worthy enough to stand alongside them. It's very silly and the CGI is cheap as hell, but I do like how the story actually ties back to the originals and completes the story arc with the Forbidden Arts.
The CG animated Swan Princess sequels had similar animation levels as the Alpha & Omega and Norm of the North movies, despite of their first theatrical installments being flops
The fundamental problem with the Swan Princess as a franchise above all things is that the actual Swan Princess story is a one & done. Everything is wrapped up by the end & feels satisfying. So therefore, by making so many sequels, you basically have to go against everything the original set and did, adding unnecessary things & practically undoing eveything the original did. Everything else is just icing on the cow pie

The Uberta/Rogers thing only gets complicated much later, though it arguably makes sense if they're trying to tell a story that's "complete". But it also leaves so many dangling plot threads. Heck, they never even explicitly name William's kingdom, the official Swan Princess YT channel even noted it is only likely to be named like Chamberg is, relative to architecture that inspired the castle
I warned ya. And I’m siding with the squirrels especially as Odette is a demon now (another reason Oderek can’t have kids: they can’t make kids unless Satan’s involved)
Regardless of what people say about the Land Before Time sequels, but at least they had a hand in keeping hand drawn animation alive. What excuse do these modern sequels have?
Of all names to give a clan of flying squirrels, it was something relating to kitchen work.
0:50 Richard Rich claimed his reasoning for making Swan Princess sequels was simply because he liked telling new stories about Derek and Odette
Gee, I hope he's proud of it.

Now that the swan princess 12 is the last one I can finally move on

To quote Highlander fans... "There should have just been only one!"
I know there was at least 5...
@@Twinklethefox9022It’s just like The Land Before Time sequels
@@Twinklethefox9022 why did Spider-Man (Yuri Lowenthal) and MJ (Laura Bailey) agree to be in swan princess movies?
And just "Toy Story", "The Swan Princess" Franchise should have ended in the Third Movie...
Woooo🥳 I can safely say the latest movie released this year will be THE last of this franchise 😅
Let’s hope so. As for how the Squirrels got Elise while flying, it’s not a question of where they grip her, but a simple question of weight ratios
*the recent swan princess movie is the final chapter*

As retcons go the swan princess isn’t to bad. It’s not insulting like other retcons I know. Looking at you Scooby doo return to zombie island.
You could argue Odette becoming a reborn demon is what caused the forbidden arts to regain sentience🤣

Wait, when did Kirk Thornton voice Megatron?
Also, at 8:53 was Odette singing. Elise couldn't speak at that point, remember?
@@anitamihholap5926 Kirk voiced Megatron in Cyberverse. Also, yeah that was Odette singing. I don't know why I thought Elise was the one singing. Thanks.
I can explain why she harms the forbidden arts: Oddette is a reborn Demon 😂
I remember watching this movie on on my former house, it was rented on Redbox.
9:40 Clearly, this guy has never been bit by a squirrel before. 😄 ...but jokes aside, some of the most violent creatures on this planet are tiny.

Could you make a future review for Chaotic TV Show?

What movie is next?
Review Freddie as FRO7 the frog movie.
I'm actually surprised that Media Hunter hasn't reviewed that already.
Btw your Gay Puree video review is gone as is the link got a reupload?
For your next review can you do Sonic the Hedgehog 2 or Mary Poppins Returns?
Wait, 9 movies?!?!
There's 12 actually 😂
One latest one according to a article I read will be the last and involves Derek’s kingdom
Why are they still making these?!
The best explanation for all things is time.
That and money.
I still can’t over the switch to computer animation. It looks so cheap and ugly.
