Nothing against Curt Miller, but Dallas had a chance to get Mike Thibault to GM this organization and bring them out of the dumps. Thibault does more winning with what appears to be less talent; the man understands how to evaluate and would've been a phenomenal draw in free agent market come 2026. To me this is a sign that Greg Bibb even though he said he was stepping away, he really isn't and will still be controlling all basketball decisions. Mike Thibault would have demanded total control.
