I know it’s random but you should start a new series like a “cook with me” and you cook a dinner meal once a week and show use what you’re eating 🥺I love watching you cook!!
translation for emmies niceness: apple noodles were WACK
“Least offensive” 😂
LOL
Appreciate it
They were wack jack, now don't you come back, no more, no more, no more.
@@madestmadhatter lol 😉🙃🤪😂🤣
I’m intrigued and nervous about apple pie ramen.
same, if that was the 'least offensive' of the sweet Yakisobas, how are the other ones? X_X
I second that! 😅🙋🏽♂️
You explained my feelings so perfect
Just the thought makes my stomach hurt lol Would I try it? Well, yeah haha
Same
Love Emmy's videos because she gives accurate and in-depth descriptions of the food she eats, she doesn't just leave it at 'iTs So GoOd!' :>.
I love how emmy gets excited each time she sees the built in strainer
The apple pie recipe made me think a little of my great-grandmother's lokshen kugel recipe, a sweet baked noodle dish with apples and raisins in a kind of dairy custard. That recipe does indeed have cinnamon - these days I swap out the raisins for dried cherries or blueberries and add cardamom as well.
@UCPSWlL9SpjSai1POkeNaUUA Lpkshen kugel is European Jewish cooking. There are savory ones but my family recipe is a sweet version.
That would be a cool recipe for Emmy to do
Kugel = Jewish lasagna 😉
Kugel is delicious. I've eaten the "original" several times. Your version sounds like it would be just as wonderful😊.
Mmm, that sounds yummy. I like to substitute dried zante currants instead of raisins in most recipes. Or golden raisins.
Been having a bad week and Emmy's videos at least removes some of the stress I've been having over my academics, my disfunctional home and just... life. Thank you Emmy, thank you.
Keep going creamcheese! Better days are ahead!
"Apple pie ramen" sounds like something that should be illegal
I think I finally figured out why I hate these jokes. It lime punishing kids for being left-handed.
Because "unusual=bad and should be illegal" is conservatives pissbaby mindset.
@@edwardhisse2687 dang bro who pissed in your Cheerios this morning lol 😂
@@edwardhisse2687 I think it’s more that something seems so “wrong” you feel assaulted by them
@@edwardhisse2687 shut up it’s not that deep ,and you think bringing politics in makes you automatically right 🙄step off.
@Rose yes,and true.
Where Anthony Bourdain may have worn by stopping at a Lawson’s Konbini to get an egg salad sandwich, my routine, after landing at Narita or Haneda and downing a few canned coffee drinks from the vending machines, was to head into Tokyo and get my first meal in Japan at a Ichiran Ramen shop (at their Asakusa or Shinjuku locations). Extra chashu, extra hard boiled egg and a matcha beer... I miss it so much
/Thank you for letting us know there a less expensive alternative to the Ichiran Ramen Kit they sell, the ones I bought from Donki on my last visit are long gone...
Omg matcha beer sounds AMAZING
Out of all the many bowl ramen's you've been blessed to taste, what are the ones you wish could become available or mainstream for us lesser wise Ramen eater?
i love the INSTANT joy u got from peeling back the tab to drain the yakisoba
This is why I love Japan... So well organized ❤️
japan's dedication to inventions never cease to amaze me , even the kids candy boxes are like rocket science
Me too, but their volume of plastic packaging waste makes me want to cry. It’s worse than Americans’, and it’s bad here.
@@KM-pm6qe most of Japan’s plastic waste is due to consumer fears, in the 90’s there was a massive health scare because an apparent “death cult” was spraying fresh produce with anthrax. This has lead to many Japanese people being very prudish about the idea of unwrapped or packaged foods.
@@minermortal1997 yes! I saw a video about that. But it’s not just that they’re wrapping everything, it’s the multiple layers, and a small hill of plastic to individually wrap each component of a kit to make a one-time snack that comes from a factory. Maybe they just psychologically accepted unlimited plastic when they started wrapping things for safety.
@K M, I would say look at your own countries problems before pointing at others, or even closer than that- your own household. What are you doing to help the environment?
I moved just a couple weeks ago, and this new place just does not feel like home. I’ve been struggling and feeling homesick every day, and I remember Emmy saying she began this channel while she was feeling a bit homesick living abroad. I’ve been coming here for comfort a lot. It’s interesting how the universe works. She probably needed this channel to help her through her homesickness, and in doing so, is now helping me with mine. 💜 Much love to you, Emmy.
That Apple one looks amazing, a perfect Autumn quick meal.
If someone adds 'pumpkin spice' to this I may have to hunt them down. 😋
@@xurx2838 I suppose that the pumpkin spice crowd could have their own variant, but I am team apple.
Emmy when I first saw your channel I immediately subscribed. You teach me so much stuff about food and plants.
For any US watchers with noodle envy, Ichiran has a few locations in NYC too 🤗🍜
I learnt something new, thanks for the tip with the small packages and letting them heat up ontop.
Your videos are always so interesting with a little pinch of humor. 💯
is no one going to mention how buff Emmy's arms look... forget apple pie noodles whats your arm workout routine!
She has 2 young boys. I would imagine toting those around helps lol
Doesn't Emmy have what basically amounts to a small farm outside her house? She raises vegetables, chickens, bees. Farm work will put some muscle on you.
She’s been using her eggstractor
LoL a healthy diet full of protein (including animal protein) helps, exercise optional lol
@@gunfuego animal protein not necessary, just a good balance of all the amino acids
I love how open Emmy is to trying new things....and the way she describes food is amazing 💜❤💙💚💛
i looove your videos! such a soothing soul.
I’d love to see her try some of the recipes from Mrs Crocombe on the English Heritage channel.
I started the video and paused it a few seconds in to wait for my kid to see! We love your videos. She's like "Can we watch Emmy?"
Yay I love Paul’s channel I’m excited about this
Emmy I am wondering if I could order this on Amazon the Ichiran's instant cup ramen ?
Whoa, I looked on Amazon .... It was priced at $50.00 for 4 !!! That is a steep price for the one that looked like yours.
The 2nd ramen looked a lot better to me. I love how detailed you go in describing it. Thank you for all your videos Emmy! Much love!
Woah! My student From Japan sent me this apple pie flavor yakisoba. I must say, not my favourite but it's not that bad.
I loooooovvvveeee Ichiran, there's on in Brooklyn and I eat there allllll the time. Also love your videos!
You know emmy's happy when she starts humming before she eats ❤
Emmy they way you explain just feels like we are there with you. Great job.
it was another cool video emmy. i never heard of these kind of noodles before.
I just want to say that the package design -- both the graphic design and the practical design -- of the Apple Pie noodle made me smile a bunch. Didn't even need English (other than letters) to get its point across. What a fantastic product -- and a strange one, but I suspect I'd enjoy it if it landed on my table! Nice dessert yakisoba, which is not a thing I even knew existed before I watched this video.
Noodilicious! Thank you Emmy 💛 your ramen videos are my favourite 💛
Ramen aside.. I absolutely LOVE your shirt Emmy!!!!!
Keep the amazing videos coming! Love you so much! ❤️ from Alyssa in Canada! 🇨🇦
There’s something so funny about HelloFresh being the sponsor in an instant noodle video 😂 love your videos, Emmy! Hope you’re doing well!!
I just invented a new condiment sandwich while I was watching this: Marmite and Mayonnaise. It was pretty nice, the mayonnaise took the edge off the Marmite. Maybe it is already a thing, if so it needs to be added to the condiment sandwich series.
You tried the marmite peanut butter or diy marmite and peanut butter sandwich? Less marmite edge too, really tasty, recommend 👍
I am continually astounded by Japan’s ability to produce such efficient and ergonomic products. Watching you make that was so satisfying. 🤓🤓
Noodles and apple pie is just something I can't wrap my head around!
Yumm 😋 I wanna try both!
it’s the life hack of warming up the sauce for the ramen on top of it for me !
Emmy, I'd love to see a deep dive into chop sticks. I believe there are distinct shapes from different regions.
Japanese chopsticks come to a point, as to where most other cultures are a straight cut off, slightly rounded so no splinters. Stainless steel come to a slight rounded point like Japanese chopsticks with grooves on them to help hold the food.
Thus was a great episode!
Awesome video as usual
Apple pie ramen sounds like something I would really like.
SAMEEEE
Just tried a Golden Miso Ramen- it was delicious! In case anyone is looking for something new and available in the states!
When you said people don’t know ramen is fresh, I automatically thought of the ramen girl! Highly recommend, Britney Murphy is great in it 🤗
hi Emmy!!! Glad to see you again
Emmy I love your top!
IM SO HAPPY YOU GOT TWO MILLION SUBSCRIBERS EMMYMADE!
Every time I watch one of your ramen videos it always makes me want to take a trip to my local ramen restaurant. I LOVE ramen So much! And you're the reason I took the trip to a ramen shop in the first place. You made me try and appreciate good ramen not just the packs from the grocery store.
The look on her face the second she put the Apple pie noodles in her mouth. Bravo on always being able to take the diplomatic route on things she doesn’t like.
Anyone else slurping noodles would make me want to gag but Emmy makes it cute!
Watching this while eating a cup of instant ramen 😂 I love your instant noodle videos!
I've had that brand's normal yakisoba flavor and I was so impressed with the packaging and the flavor was so amazing. It was so close to actual fresh-made yakisoba!
Wow looks amazing! 🍎 🍝 an interesting recipe
Ramen is just perfect if it's fresh made!
My personal ramen recipe is loved by everyone, but super long to cook. Most time I start cooking on one day, to eat next evening or afternoon.
The hard work is paying off well and everyone tells me that it's the best "soup" they ever have been eaten.
These are my moments of being proud about myself 😁
I'm glad you tried the Apple Pie Ramen so I didn't have to, Thanks, LOL
Agreed! The apple pie was fun to try once! As for Ichiran, now I know what I'm having for lunch... ;)
Love your videos, and I have to commend you on your bravery when it comes to trying such things as “Apple Pie Yakisoba”. I mentioned that to my 22 and 24 year old, who are normally quite adventurous when it comes to trying things, and I have to say that they were pretty grossed out!😆 The Carolina Wren(?) singing towards the end of the video was a nice touch too!😊
Satoshi would probably like this apple ramen as there’s no cinnamon in it.
Satoshi didn't like the apple pie one at all but he loved the other noodles in this video. He tried the apple on his own Kanten foods by Satoshi channel about 9 months ago. He didn't say if it had cinnamon or not, just that it was sweet and cakey. He ate it all as he didn't want to waste food but he still didn't like it!
Omg that shirt is so cute! @emmymade noodlelisious!
The Ichiran Cup Ramen looked marvelous! Emmy, as it is almost unprocurable in the rest of the world (and certainly not here in Australia) would you consider creating a recipe version of your own for us? Would be stunning and super appreciated! :-)
It’s a little bit like the spaghetti my uncle would make for us when we were super young. This was a ‘secret’ and we were definitely not supposed to tell our parents: spaghetti with loads of ketchup and a sprinkling of sugar... I can’t imagine it was great tasting but as a kid, it was the kind of forbidden pleasure that you could only have outside of home and of course it tasted delicious in our minds. 😄
You are so relaxing
Amazing time for me to take a break from lesson planning!
I love the guys at TabiEats! Was surprised to hear you mention Satoshi. I’ve been craving curry recently, but that ichiran ramen looks noodlicious!
I miss the Ramen shops & rotary sushi joints in Japan & on Guam. Wish we had them here in my area of the USA
You are glowing!
Much love and support from Germany 🥰❤
Not Emmy blowing on her salad to cool it down 😂
That was a 'roasted veggie farro bowl'. So the farro and roasted veggies were probably hot.
I blow on any food I'm hesitant to eat, it's like a psyching myself up thing. Probably not what Emmy was doing though haha
Its cool, i thought it was cute. I unintentionally blow on my ice cream all the time haha
Noodlicious! Thanks Emmy!
Emmy’s intro music is always the best
she seems so sweet and i love her hair
Noodlicious!!! And Emmy please oh pretty please tell us where can we purchase those ichiran instant cup of noodles!!!!
I'm gonna buy the Ichiran ramen cup today! Thanks!
Gurrlll I love your shirt ! ❣️
Also it makes sense to have a sweet ramen, a lot of desserts are just carbs with something sweet on them (e.g. toast with jam)
Noodlicious! I'd love to try those apple pie noodles 😮
Love the built in strainer!!!!!!! Saw a noodle "hack" when noods are done take a fork or chopstick and pop holes opposite side "unopened" side to strain!!!!! Wish WISH I Could go visit Japan LOVE Ramen LOVE NOODS!!!!!! YUMMM🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰
Please tell us where you got that shirt! It's adorable!
I love this setting Emmy! But, I do miss your home kitchen.
So nice of you thank
The apple pie ramen was interesting and I’d definitely add cinnamon to it. I’ve never seen the so called dessert ramens, I’m going to look that up so me and my family can try something different.
It’s always interesting and a joy to watch you
Can't wait to visit my son at Tokai and try it out with him next year!
I want somoene to love me as much as Emmy loves a built in strainer for her Ramen
so very Noodlicious! ramen is such a comfort food for me, while the super cheap top ramen will always hold a special place in my heart, I love that other kinds are so much more readily available these days!
We need a Lynja and Emmy crossover.
But they have completely opposite energy :'c
Imagine the interaction
Emmy: The taste is very intriguing, not bad for an apple pie ramen, but not good either. Interesting.
Lynja: THIS IS TERRIBLE. I give it a smack! (weeeee~~~)
I hope this comes to the US but I doubt it, there are a ton of flavors exclusive to Japan unfortunately.
Such smart design 👍 even for a bowl of instant ramen 👍👍👍
I want to try it
I'm confused about the garlic in the apple pie ramen. But I'm from the Midwest and what we eat terrifies whole countries. So I really can't complain. I'd love to try it some day just to try and understand.
I'm from the Midwest too and our food is atrocious 😂
But don't get me wrong, most of it tastes great
Garlic? I must have missed that bit haha
I always crave ramen after I watch Emmy. 💜🍜💜
Hello 👋 how are you doing
That strainer is so brilliant I wish cup of noodles had that😂😂 like wtf
When I saw this pop up on RUclips, I decided to make myself some ramen for dinner. Apple pie yakisoba is too weird for me, so thanks for trying it for us. I've never had Ichiran cup ramen.
I used Sapporo Ichiban miso ramen (I like the additional original spice packet, too). I added a handful of boiled shrimp and a splash of sake, and then cracked an egg into it at the end, and sprinkled on some fresh chopped chives. Mmmm!
I love the Sour Cream Pringles Yakisoba!
They actually weren’t that bad! I tried these too on my channel a while back. I thought they were oddly tasty. Not something that scratches the yakisoba itch but we’re really fun to try 😂 I just got those ichiran noodles too! Can’t wait to try them as I love love love ichiran!
I agree with you that the cinnamon was missing for sure! Have you tried the apple pie KitKats from Japan? Those taste exactly like apple pie!
I love things that taste like other things 😆 💜
In Germany sometimes kids like pasta with sugar or vanilla custard, that's what came to my mind when I saw the apple pie ramen. I never liked sweet pasta, but if I had these ramen at home I would have added either my own cinnamon, apple sauce, or even a splash of vanilla custard or cream just to experiment.
Now I even get the weird idea of throwing pork floss on top as apple is great with pork. I better stop now. 😄
How could anyone possibly dislike this video..
