Jongho’s been training for a reallllyyyy long time now so between experience and lessons after a while you just know what to do to get your voice in the best condition possible for performances lol he said it in an interview that he doesn’t warm-up before a concert and lets the first few songs of the concert warm up his voice, which as a voice teacher is not something I’d recommend to young students tbh lol because if you start cold without ANY sort of warm-up you could actually end up doing a lot of damage to your voice BUT because he has the lessons and experience and also because of just HOW MUCH he has to sing, vocal rest leading into the concerts is probably the best thing for him tbh. Also during the Crescent Party they did back in 2020, he actually talked about his technique and where he breathes and how he uses his breath to properly support notes and I remember watching and being absolutely impressed because he went into detail and showed exactly where he takes his breaths from. He’s also talked about how he plans his breaths and where he needs to conserve more of it and energy in order to pull off the higher belting he does in songs. He’s genuinely one of the most impressive singers I’ve ever come across and I’ve just got so much respect for him from a fellow musician point of view. (Also apologies if any of that didn’t make sense lol English is not my first language and I find myself struggling sometimes 😅)
But also agreed on everything you said about the rest of the group. They are PHENOMENAL performers, and they are theatrical which is one of my favorite things about their performances. Vocal, rap, dance, these guys have it all. :’)💜

He reminds me so much of Floor Jansen from Nightwish. Totally different music, lol, (symphonic metal), but he's cut from the same cloth she is, as far as raw talent, power and dedication to his training. If you've ever seen her perform "Ghost Love Score" live, you'll see what I mean, and why this is the highest compliment I can pay him. They're basically goosebumps personified 😅

Jongho said that when he has to perform/sing a lot, when he's not on stage he just doesn't use his voice lol, he doesn't talk. And he said he doesn't even do warmups, he just uses the first few songs of the concert as a warmup. Like he's just supernatural, idk how much of that you can learn/teach someone.

Jongho also probably uses vocal support so he essentially uses other body parts to support his singing. It’s not just the vocal chords but it’s the lungs, the diaphragm, the ribs, and the mind, and that may sound obvious but it’s the use of all of them in concert (lol) together that makes him so stable and strong
Jongho is the reason I started listening to ATEEZ. I absolutely love Black Cat Nero and Wonderland.
Their concert was the best one I have ever attended. They got me doing cardio and screaming for like 4 hours straight. They were so freaking good and yes, Jongho's voice was perfectly fine. I couldn't talk for two days. LOL

I believe SPIN OFF is about past (cause Fedora man aka Seonghwa already saved Yeosang so why was he still in chains?) and that scarecrow is actually HALATEEZ (who are supposedly dEd💀) and ATEEZ are in death ceremony or mourning for the death of HALATEEZ. Like you can feel the atmosphere how teaser 1 ended, it was like they were mourning for the death. And that PALGAN-SAE, the blue bird is a symbolism of hope that they still have after the death of HALATEEZ. I cried watching sanniesss part too. Omg. My brain can't handle any of this amazing storyline anymore. But i saw something on the bird app which explains Sanniesss scene at the mv. It goes like this: "The resistances who revolted against the government tried to pull the chain to bring the moon down (the eye watching them) but they failed. San gave up on his life to save everyone alone. he was so desperate and screaming in pain." And san’s magnificent acting gave me goosebumps. I think they should give san another acting project. The comeback trailer for Halazia told us that Halateez had lost the war, so they wouldn't be coming back (dead or missing ? we don't have the details yet) and that a "new eight appears". So, when the scarecrow burns, it's to represent the end of the Halateez era in their world. Now, it's Halazia's turn to fight so that Halateez didn't sacrifice themselves in vain! Same goes with the hat that burns into Wooyoung's hands. It's the hat of Halateez, and it burns, just like the scarecrow. It's a symbol : they sacrificed themselves, and Halazia seems like their last hope. That's also why we really feel that this song is a cry of hope. Their words, their passion, their facial expressions, they are KILLING IT!🤯
From what I remember, Jongho said he never got formal vocal training for his voice and when they asked him what he does to warm up, he says he doesn’t use his voice until he’s on stage! So I think we can confirm that Jongho is just talented and out of this world lol

Ok, so my theory so far (still working on it) is Halazia is that place like it’s the homeland for Halateez. I think they don’t want to be in the dark anymore because Hongjoong says “who are we in the dark for?” and now they want to be in the light which is the “Zia” in Halazia. That’s why they’re burning the statue, the hat and rebeling. There’s parts that still confuse me though like the boulder that they pull down. I feel like to truly get what it means I’d have to watch all of the MVs related to the storyline again and then watch Halazia.

As someone who does musical theatre for about three years, whenever it's about a week or two perform shows, it's super important to take care of yourself as in sleep well, nap whenever you can, eat well but have light meals! Any performer knows that eating light meals saves their asses aa the food doesnt sit in their stomach and weighs them down and gives them energy.
I'm pretty sure ATEEZ also avoid products that contain dairy like milk, ice cream, yogurt ect as it can lead to acid reflux and burns your throat where you vocal cords are. Dairy also thickens our mucus so those "frogs in our throat" are a huge problem you wanna avoid before singing/performing. Another thing they might do is avoid any caffeine and/or cold drinks right before a concert because it will stiffen the vocal chords. It's not fun, especially if you need to sing for long periods or really high.
And finally, Jongho specifically is a trained vocalist, meaning that his technique helps him limit strain to his voice. If you scream all the time, for example at a concert your straining your voice and it'll hurt your voice. When you train and practice the same song over and over, you'll know the right way to hit a note and do it correctly. I hope this helps anyone who's curious!
