Ateez is INCREDIBLY good at world building, all their MVs are based on a single storyline that consists of crazy multiverses. It’s essentially revolved around them being pirates, or treasure seekers, time travel, alternate dystopian universes, and multiple personas. Their sound has always been so unique and cinematic, I think that’s what makes them so popular despite being from a small company. Even when performing, the guys are so good and acting and really become the character they’re trying to express on stage. I saw them live and their stage presence was like no other. I love ateez so much, thanks for appreciating them and reacting! 🎉🎉❤❤
I hope you get more into ATEEZ, they have a huge storyline that connects all their songs! Imo, ateez's tracks are meant to be watched because there is just so many layers to the instrumentals, lyrics, and vocals that make a song so theatrical. I think that's what sets ateez apart for me.
100% agree! There are loads of great explanations/summaries, and knowing the storyline (and the wild theories we all come up with) makes watching these videos an extremely rich experience. It adds a whole other dimension beyond the music/visuals/performance, because everything they put out there is meticulously crafted around the storyline. We all quickly become that conspiracy theory meme from always sunny.

You can listen to all english songs like ptd and dynamite but you won't get the same tone and meaningful connection as korean songs like Halazia. Just hits different, Engish songs are often dumbed down for the west and just is not the same.
As a fellow metalhead, I'd recommend Black Cat Nero, Guerilla and Say My Name. Honestly, any title track (and a lot of B sides) are worth a listen, dive down the rabbit hole and enjoy every second of it!
Saw Ateez inconcert last Fall and you can't believe how ridiculously epic they are live! The building was literally shaking and the crowd was so hyped!
My niece got me into Ateez but I really didn’t get into them until their kingdom performances. They blew me away even though I rooted for Stray Kids, Ateez was fantastic!
Guerrilla and the album it is on (The World Ep 1: Movement) is as close to a rock opera as I have experienced in kpop. Every song is a banger. Highly recommend listening to the whole thing in order.

I'm a die hard fan for A LOT of kpop groups but Ateez just have that something extra, I cannot explain what that is. Like yes they are talented and working super hard and there is a mindblowing production team but so do others, yes lore but I got into them before I knew lore. It's just that SOMETHING. The only way I can put it is that their music feels the most cinematic of all, if you listen to The World EP.1: Movement album it's basically a conceptual album that tells one cohesive story and it feels like a musical or rather rock-opera to me. No other group in kpop scratched that particular itch for me in 12 years I've been listening. If you have ever been a teenager listening to music in your room making up your own worlds and stories to some of the best of the classics, it's that feeling.
In Kpop we have groups that tend to use the same concepts so you kinder know already what some groups are gonna sound like but what i like about my two favourite groups (BLACKPINK, ATEEZ) is that they have their own style in music, not afraid to explore into sounds and beats and they always kill it. ATEEZ has a storyline in their music so to be able to kinder grasp the ends to their MVs you need to start at the beginning of their music journey. I absolutely love their pirate concept which is something different and unique that I've never gotten into since i got into Kpop.
Ateez never misses, and even their b-sides can be title tracks. Pls do more Ateez soon they're literally one of the very best for me in K-pop. Cyberpunk and The Ring would probably blow you away as well. I Love all the albums but their latest album is phenomenal 👌

I’ve watched HALAZIA reaction videos too many time until now and no matter how many times I watch a reaction of this song or how many times I listen the song I keep having the same feelings and emotions like I had when I listened for the first time. This song is currently on my #1 at my TOP2023. Amazing. ATEEZ are one of a kind, even in a world as expansive as "Kpop". To understand this song and mv you'd have to dive more into some earlier songs like HALA HALA and Answer and also into their lore. Which is admittedly very involved and a bit confusing sometimes, but it is ongoing.

The impressive thing is that ateez is from a really small company, while stray kids and blackpink are from the ‘big 4’ kpop companies, this makes ateez’ growth and production a lot more impressive! hope you’ll react to more of their music! 🫶🏻

ATEEZ is in a genre of their own. They pull off epic/dramatic movie scape so well. I would check out Guerilla, Thanxx and if you want more hip hop: The Leaders, Don’t Stop, To the Beat, Pirate King (the beat to this hits sooooo hard) their discography is so diverse. *Edited to add, a must reaction is CYBERPUNK. They did do a live stage of it (no MV) but it may have well been a title track with how popular it is.

The album is about how ateez r in a world of ppl who are controlled by some majors who r making them emotionless, who's ears r shut n locked up inside one room. But then there's ateez who r trying to bring these ppl's emotions back through music especially through loud speakers as it can go in through their shut ears. Ateez!!! Guerrilla pulled me in and then the lore made me stay. Don’t know if anyone has mentioned it but, seriously the lore. A lot of what you see in their videos/performances tie into the lore. Not to mention every song is a banger. Glad to see they are getting some love.

They usually have more hard hitting title tracks but their b-sides are where the gems are. Reading this back I gave you like 90% bsides lol. Also, these don’t all have the same sound as Halazia bc they usually switch up their sound every album, but I’m sure you can find things to appreciate about every song!! Halazia was my first Ateez video. I had just gotten into Stray Kids like a month before it came out. I was hooked within the first 30 seconds. They really do things differently and I love them.
As someone who has been here with ateez since before they actually debuted I want to say thank you for thoroughly enjoying their stuff. They really are masters at what they do. They put all they have into everything they have some of the leaders of the fourth generation of K-pop music and yet they don’t get the credit that they so often deserve, they deserve more than what they have gotten, but I am so proud of them with every single achievement that they make

ATEEZ is in a genre of their own. They pull off epic/dramatic movie scape so well. I would check out Guerilla, Thanxx and if you want more hip hop: The Leaders, Don’t Stop, To the Beat, Pirate King (the beat to this hits sooooo hard) their discography is so diverse.
*Edited to add, a must reaction is CYBERPUNK. They did do a live stage of it (no MV) but it may have well been a title track with how popular it is.

The album is about how ateez r in a world of ppl who are controlled by some majors who r making them emotionless, who's ears r shut n locked up inside one room.
But then there's ateez who r trying to bring these ppl's emotions back through music especially through loud speakers as it can go in through their shut ears.
N guess what it worked n people are getting back with their emotions.😮

Ateez!!! Guerrilla pulled me in and then the lore made me stay. Don’t know if anyone has mentioned it but, seriously the lore. A lot of what you see in their videos/performances tie into the lore. Not to mention every song is a banger. Glad to see they are getting some love.

@@Nain06 ofc!! the queen Answer, Deja Vu, Inception (this one is a little more electronic based), Fever, Utopia, Mist (one of my faves), Twilight, Light, Aurora, Dazzling Light, Celebrate. They usually have more hard hitting title tracks but their b-sides are where the gems are. Reading this back I gave you like 90% bsides lol. Also, these don’t all have the same sound as Halazia bc they usually switch up their sound every album, but I’m sure you can find things to appreciate about every song!! If you could tell me what music genres you like I could maybe recommend a few that are in that genre!! Have fun listening!!! Tell me how you like them!

Yessss Ateez are very Unique , like Stray kids, they have their own touch to their music and it's true , their tonality is insane !
I really recommend that you react to Guerrilla , if you are a metal head :) the raps in that song are insane but it has a much more heavy vibe !!

Halazia was my first Ateez video. I had just gotten into Stray Kids like a month before it came out. I was hooked within the first 30 seconds. They really do things differently and I love them.

As someone who has been here with ateez since before they actually debuted I want to say thank you for thoroughly enjoying their stuff. They really are masters at what they do. They put all they have into everything they have some of the leaders of the fourth generation of K-pop music and yet they don’t get the credit that they so often deserve, they deserve more than what they have gotten, but I am so proud of them with every single achievement that they make
Absolutely check out Guerilla. Great song and video. You should also listen to the whole album. Definitely one of my faves.
