In some scenes, especially in the city, the Series X is much, MUCH better. Other scenes it is a lot closer. Edge in a pretty big way to Series X over cloud now, I'll be looking forward to seeing a comparison like this in a year or two though.
Series X SHOULD be saving things like that in cache so if you visit a second time its already loaded. For people with slow intrnet they need to work on the cache so it saves more to the SSD.
Okay good, I tried msfs2020 through the xcloud and the performance fine. I was worried it may have been 60fps and so I would’ve been disapppointed with the series x. But 30fps is totally adequate for a slowpaced game like this.
Thanks for the comparison. I was playing msfs2020 with gtx 1060 before and now I wanted to use the 1$ offer for xbox game pass ultimate and see what the cloud gaming looks like. First disappointment was that only the standard version is working in the cloud, the next disappointment was that it has not 2k graphics and the biggest disappointment was that it looks very bad especially in cities. I was expecting that cloud gaming in 2023 is possible in ultra settings but I think it will take 5 more years 😂 so maybe I have to buy a new PC instead 😂

Cloud gaming seems to stutter a little while series X barely does it and X seems more sharp and crisp for objects and others.

Currently, the resolution seems to be limited to 1080p on xcloud.
