I have an Xbox. It’d be really hard to full sim on it. I’m just glad it’s on Xbox so I can finally enjoy this beautiful game and try to be as realistic as possible with a controller haha.
My husband and I took turns playing around in the easy mode on the World Map with 4 or 5 different planes. We flew from Orlando to Tampa, flew over all the major theme parks, then our house North of Tampa and landed at MacDill AFB. We noticed the satellite images are older because we could still see the big oak tree that was once outside of our house that we cut down about 5-6 years ago. We explored San Vito dei Normanni (Italy) where my husband grew up; Shiner, TX where he went to high school; Kyoto, Japan where I lived and worked and even took the main menu tour around Giza. Then we challenged ourselves a bit by flying from Seoul to Pyongyang at night, just to see the contrast in how big and bright the lights are in South Korea vs. a nearly-dark North Korea. After I get through some basic flight training, my goals are to fly along the TransSiberian Railroad and the old Silk Road paths.
He always does great video and tutorials. There are few out there. "Into the blue simulations" does great videos like plane reviews. Meaning no disrespect to Squirrel for mentioning.
I know I am 2 years late here, but I just bought the Xbox S console and immediately purchased MSFS 2020. I have not played video games in close to 20 years. So glad I found your video and just wanted to thank you for making it and posting. Having done some systems training in the past myself, I thoroughly enjoy your tutorial style. Great voice and accent, by the way lol.
From someone who has never flown a sim like this..a heartfelt thank you. Your tone and demeanour are perfect for listening and learning. With your help, I too have flown my first airframe and seen my first landmark. Thank you. I shall watch the landing video when I'm done in the skies 😊
I love this! Thank you!! One note, the option for the HUD in chase mode has now moved into the User Experience section in the Assistance options. So don't set them all to off as it says in this video, set the HUD option to on.
Brand new to MSFX, never had a PC that could run it so it’s a delight having it on a console. This tutorial has really helped me get over my initial overwhelm - in particular the advice on setting the assistance options so you get the feedback of flight control while still keeping things easy.

Thanks 😊 ✈🛩
Just waiting for flight sim to update and watching this while waiting. Really useful stuff. Thanks a lot. Can’t wait to get in the air!
Wow thank you for this! I had been playing flight sim for maybe 2 hours. I still felt like the controls weren't working right (AI would take over and I would crash fighting the AI lol) this and the other tutorial were super helpful. Now flying is SO much more calmer and predictable lol. :)
Its been a minute! re-subscribed, followed you way back in the 'squad days' glad you are still going strong!
Excellent tutorial I’m going to learn to fly with you step by step.
The best tutorial everrrrrr
Just need to get game, computer and the rest
In Australia. So no chance of an Xbox x for a decade
A Great video and a great looking game. Good clear instructions spoken with a clear voice.
I liked how you zoomed into Melbourne that's where im from you rock
This was so helpful! I was able to do this and land on my first try. I didn't watch your landing video though. I didnt know where to park the plane.
It sounded very windy up by the redeemer destination. I had a little trouble turning up there.
Great tutorial. Thank you so much. Just subbed. Disappointed MS don't offer a flying manual PDF as a free download. So these tutorials are invaluable. More please!
I'm Brazilian and I love your videos, thanks for visiting Brazil.
Mais algum brasileiro por aqui???
This game definitely makes me wanna be a pilot!! Your tutorials are awesome and so thorough! Mahalo!🤙🏾
Excellent video, really well explained, I've just subscribed to your channel, I need to watch more of your videos, I've just managed to get myself a Xbox Series X and I've been looking forward to having a go on Microsoft Flight Sim, I'm really pleased I found your channel.
Thx really needing this , hope you will do more in dept flight sim vids! :)
