I sadly never played Wii games as a kid but I have been playing a lot of Wii games in the last year and I think I missed a lot of bangers. Prob my third favourite console games wise (top 2 are switch and GameCube)

Never owned the wii that had the GameCube ports, it was the black wii that was bundled with the sleeve covered case with new super Mario bros and a soundtrack of super Mario galaxy.
Edit: how tf did I not notice I said I didn’t own the Wii that didn’t have GameCube ports? 💀

@@traviscunningham7062 bro you clearly know NOTHING about the Wii U’s abilities, 90% of switch games were originally released on the Wii U which now you can download for FREE instead of having to pay €70 for each game, online play is free, you can play games from literally every single generation (nes, snes, n64, GameCube, wii, gb, gbc, gba, ds, Wii U games ofc, some sega games & even ps1 games and mind you it’s free) the resolution is also wayy better and there’s so much fun things to do aside from playing games such as Wii U chat in which you can literally FaceTime w other’s, miiverse which is an app that looks like twitter in which you can chat w other players abt your fav game, it has gameshare, you can also connect any wireless controller you want (even ps & Xbox) everything esp the homescreen has so much personality, nice music, the gamepad controller ofc which you can use in so many unique ways ect. & although I own a ps5 & switch- the Wii U still remains the best console I own, best purchase ever tbh

I was unlucky and got a Wii without the GameCube ports, and I asked for a GameCube game for my birthday, and I was disappointed to find out it didn't work. But a little bit of homebrew and sacrificing beloved family photos, I can play them now!
