Large orchestral recordings usually tell the real story . Low ish dynamic range HIFI tracks are relatively easy to reproduce well on most decent amplifiers and speakers these days.
Thank you Ian, and you are right that big orchestral scores enable you to hear what a system can do. We hope you can visit us, or your local dealer, for an audition soon. We have all been surprised in a good way by Model M1
I see that this comes with an IR input. I realize that you can use your TV remote over ARC when your tele in on. But is there another remote (that can be purchased) that can be used when your tele is off?
Good morning The, yes - Model M1 can be controlled by connecting a control box or other control device to it's flasher IR in jack. Almost any after-market remote control should work fine. Also the HEOS app for your phone or tablet gives you a lot of control over the Model M1, so most folks use that method
Marantz is 200£ more expensive but Denon looks exactly the same inside. Only Marantz comes with 5 years warranty Denon 2 years anyway most Uk retailers offer 6 years extended warranty for free. Are They sound the same?
Hello Karhaj, the sound is not quite the same, as these two look very similar, but actually have a substantially different parts list. Both are quite good though
Hello Kukkema, a broad range - so far, Model M1 has handled everything we have connected. Power increases into a 4 ohm load. We'd say not to pair it with a speaker that regularly dips to 2 ohms, but there are not that many of those. Feel free to reach out if you have a specific speakers in mind, or to arrange a demo: ask@gramophone.com
Hi Jeff, that's a "definite maybe". It depends on which speakers, which room (how large it is) - and how loudly you like to play. Ex: the CI-200-RR is a 4 ohm speaker, so 2 pair would be a 2 ohm load. Model M-1 (and many other amps) are not rated to handle 2 ohm loads. So before cutting into your ceiling, we suggest consulting with folks who do a lot of custom install work: ask@gramophone.com
@@GramophoneMD I do custom install work, lol. I was going to buy the blue sound amp and this came up so was wondering and the kef I am using is the Kef Ci200QS with one Kef Ci200QSb ceiling sub for each pair and that has a built in crossover. More listening music than party music. These are 8 Ohms
@@Jeff-rg9io Hi Jeff, sorry we missed this. The Bluesound amp is very good, this one sounds really good too. Let us know how it sounds once your install is completed

Marantz M1 look the same inside like Denon home amp. Why Denon is 200 cheaper?
What speakers are good matches with the M1?

Can this drive 4 Kef ceiling speakers connected in parallel?

Try the new Denon Home Amp!
Thanks Tessie, that also looks like a great product
M1 with old bluetooth codecs
Hello Sasadoljan - just wait until you have a chance to audition the unit yourself. Our guess is that you will be impressed :-)
Is this an infomercial? The Horror.
Hello Earl, we're sorry to have disappointed you, but thank you for watching
This is like a JML advert
Thanks JOC, we try our best to highlight what each product does well. In the case of the M1, we are really impressed by what you get for $999
Buy the Wiim amp,save $700
Wiim amp has no chance when was compared with M1 on another youtube channel,M1 is a clear winner😁✌️
@@Adrianek81 I guess it all depends on your budget
I have both. There’s no comparison. The WiiM is superb value for money, no doubt. But so is the m1 in a different way.
a load of bollocks more like 🤣🤣🤣
Hello Ian, thank you for your comment. Please reach out to us if you can to share your listening evaluations: ask@gramophone.com
Nah , i don’t think that amplifier can power those speakers . Please go demo the system before buying them .
Hello Pierre, thank you for your comments. We were all skeptical too - until we played music at some pretty loud levels, and it sounded really good
You’ll be surprised.
