While the Model M1 and Model 40n are manufactured in Japan, the Model 60n is manufactured in Vietnam. Marantz Model 60n Integrated Amp: audioadvice.io/Model60n Marantz Model M1: audioadvice.io/ModelM1 Marantz Model 40n: audioadvice.io/Model40nAmp
Love the features and build of the new 60N. I have a feeling it will be a popular option for customers wanting to use a TV with their 2-channel audio system.
Great question. The Stereo 70s is a huge value with everything it has for the price. The 60n will just sound a lot better with less HDMI inputs. Far better power supply and amp section.
@@AudioAdvice nice! I don’t like the 70s for that, it seems to be more an audio/video reciver..in this 60n all the money goes directly into the stereo hifi stuff. I’m looking for my first integrated amp this is interesting
Is 60 watts enough these days I'd be more comfortable in buying it if it had a bit more wattage my silver 300s speakers ask for 80 watts minimum I know marantz does pair very well with monitor audio speakers cause I'm using an older 5015 av receiver that's rated at 100 watts and it's an outstanding pairing was looking at but unsure whether it's enough power to drive them
With a sensitivity of 87.5 you do need some power to get them going. Please feel free to reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss the best way to drive them in your room. Thanks for watching
Basically it is identical with the Marantz PM7000N amp, but in a new dress with some minor tweaks, and, of course, 30-40% more expensive. Buy the 7000N while you can. 😉
Its receive and transmit for Bluetooth, so you could send a BT stream from your smartphone to it, or set it up to transmit to a pair of BT headphones. Thanks for watching
So would you got for the 40n or 60n? As I was gearing up to purchase the 40n in a few months to complement my CD60 and Rega Planar 3. This 60n has come out of no where from Marantz…. Surely they are now flooding the market with too many similarly priced and similarly spec’d separates now 🤷♂️
Hi, my name is David. I'm in Sydney, Australia and was tossing up between PM7000N and the 60n. The price difference in Australia is about AUD$1,000. I am replacing a Denon PMA-735R from 2000 and want a new amp for CDs and Apple Music streaming, not for TV. I just bought a pair of Triangle Australe EZ speakers. Should I buy the 7000N or the 60n? Is it worth $1,000 extra?? Thanks
I have a new $3,000 Marantz SACD30N with HEOS.... that doesn't support QOBUZ. I absolutely love the DAC and CD player but, Marantz decided to support every streaming platform EXCEPT the one that matters for audiophiles? They need to resolve this.

We feel the same way, thanks!
Very nice review! Great addition to that product line
Thanks!
Beautiful and good amp! Its is very big for 60W@8ohm. A good review with the compairing to other amps.
Thanks very much!
How about this model compared to the stereo 70s?

@@MelchioDrum You nailed the differences.
Good question!
@@AudioAdvice The Stereo 70s is rated at 75W/ch at 8ohm, though. Perhaps something to consider depending on which speakers you are pairing it with?
It would be interesting to see a comparison between these Marantz amps and the Yamaha offerings in this category, especially the R-N1000A.
I have the 40n and I do wish I had the pre-out for when I want to run my tube amps
Thanks for sharing.
They make stunning pieces!
yes, thanks!
Excellent review. Very in depth.
Thanks so much!
Love the look!
Thank you!
Bravo 👏🏻 Marantz for another great product !
next in line a new version of the Pm-6007 !!
Thank you!
It's pretty killer to see all of this tech at this price point!
Yes it is, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the review! How would you compare the phono stages between the 40 and 60?
Thank you, they tell us the 40 has a better phono preamp but we did not get a chance to compare that aspect yet. Thanks for watching
Can you explain the difference between the (Model 60N + CD60) vs the (Model 50 + 50N) ?
There are several. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss which would be best for your needs. Thanks for watching

Far heavier with a beefier amplifier section.
Marantz 60n vs Rotel A14MKII that would be a nice battle :)
That it would! Thanks for watching
I may be saying this wrong, but what’s recede and transmit tech?
Its receive and transmit for Bluetooth, so you could send a BT stream from your smartphone to it, or set it up to transmit to a pair of BT headphones. Thanks for watching
Hi. Can you help me. Which one is better, model 50 or 60n? What is the difference? Thanks
Hey there, it will depend on your needs. Please reach out to our team at audioadvice.com and our experts can help you decide!
The Model 50 is basically the analogue amplifier from the 40n. It doesn’t have a DAC or any of the streaming section of the 40n or 60n.
Literally only thing stopping me from buying it today is bass management
Fair enough. That's a good point, we wish it had it
@@AudioAdvice Im interested in a career doing future video editing & product reviews. Are their any positions open?

If you can afford the 40n it has a much better amp section. Thanks for watching
Convince me to buy the Model 60n over the more cost effective PM7000n…
The 7000n is a great value, but the 60n has a beefier amp, HDMI input and from what we can tell, better DAC's
@@AudioAdvice and pre-amp outs. I wish my PM7000N had pre-amp outs and HDMI audio. Having stated this, I LOVE my PM7000N.

These amps are almost identical.
The 60n has HDMI ARC, variable Pre-out and DSD 5,6 MHz compatibility: thats is all.

Yes, we'd love to see Qobuz support.
lets not forget the marantz sacd players!
Yes, one of the few
The silver-gold finish is so beautiful on the 60n and 40n but the black feet ruin it. I wish the feet were silver to complement the colour scheme more
Interesting thought, although all silver gear we can think have still have black feet.
Big box for just 60 watt.
It's unacceptable.
Anyway thanks for your great channel and reviews

Only a cosmetic difference over the PM7000N. No thanks!
