I bought one. And I loved it so much I bought a second one with the same b&w 707s3 speakers for my bedroom. Both are fantastic for both music and films. Best device ever! Tidal connect was buggy at first but that’s fixed now. I think my combo with the speakers plays way above its pay grade. Superb value!
Thanks for another great review. I underestimated the M1, maybe because of its look and its class as an amplifier. Great pairing with SVS Prime Pinnacles in your test, they sound great. I would prefer a standard-sized amp for my rack with more analog inputs.
I've always been curious how does the M1 sound and compare to the SVS sound base? I'm leaning toward the M1 still because of the neat virtualization trick it can do with two speakers for games and movies. Plus I love the way it looks.
@@rickgrimes4845 demo first, i actually prefer the sounbase. But the M1 is also a brilliant product with more features. I just like the svs sound more.
Actually sampling this soon. I am deciding between this and a cinema 70 to run a sterio set up. Heard great things about it but i am thinking the cinema is 'future proof' because of the pre amp out.. please share your wisdom
cinema 70 is a good call and as you mentioned the possibility to add a power amp later. M1 will give you a better stereo sound. So you need to decide what is more important to you.
I really want to get this M1, but is there no optional physical remote for it to control volume? I really need a remote. I know you can use the TV remote via HDMI, but if I'm listening to music only I want to be able to quickly adjust volume without picking up the phone. Please check for me.,
@@MohsinWadee my friend recently got the M1 and it learns tv remote commands without being hooked up to the tv. He is able to control the volume and mute with his LG remote
I've discovered that my tv remote can control the M1's volume even when the TV is switched off. This is without having used any remote learning features so far. Awesome.
M1 looks good. I have a silly question which I think I know the answer to already. I have a cinema 50 with external amp for fronts (Polk R700s), in a home theatre system including centre, surround speakers and in-ceiling speakers. So to use the M1, I'd need a separate pair of speakers, or move the speakers cables between the cinema 50 and the M1. Is that correct?
@@davidl9207 actually a question that is pondered allot. Few ways you can work this for stereo use only from the M1. But they are all risky so i would say rather a separate set of speakers or just switch the cables. A speaker selector can also be implemented.
