When doing 7.2.4 for 11 channels. Is there any difference between running a 7 channel power amp and then letting the receiver power the 4 overheads versus getting an 11 channel amplifier and the receiver powers nothing? Will you notice a big difference? Thanks!

Great video. I saw your previous videos Klipsch vs SVS because I have SVS PB1000 and I'm thinking about changing it. My speakers are Klipsch and with this new subs RP series I was thinking about it. Especially considering that they are much cheaper than SVS and I can get RP1400SW for the money of PB2000 (the pro version is more expensive though). A bigger woofer will make a difference. But thanks to you I will remain loyal to SVS You make great videos, keep it up. Regards

I have Klipsch Thx 5000, they sound very close to Mk Sound, they sound natural, they sound in the same league as Mk Sound, in my opinion

In the UK I use 2.5mm^2 3 core & earth mains cable screwed directly to the amp and the speaker terminals, because I had enough left over from a home wiring job. Same in the house and in the garage. I'm no audiophile but it sounds good to me. Agree with you about the idea of having 4-core split two ways though. It's probably overkill but it feels nice to do it that way.

Just use some good cables made by the pro audio industry. I replaced all my interconnects with Mogami and Canare pro cables. Most likely, I will also replace my speaker cables with one of these brands. Free of snake oil or other audiophile BS and almost guaranteed to last a lifetime.

I wired up all my surrounds with Supra 4.0 cables and worlds best cables 7awg for the LCR. Supra cables are tinned to avoid corrosion. I prefer spades on the cable ends nakamichi.

Thanks for the video. I watch you connected all your biwire speaker to hf post, any reason ? I use budget Canare 4S11 btw, but it sounds a bit warm and full body that i like.

You are correct over priced cables are snake oil . Just well insulated cables with decent ended jacket's are perfect for the job. Same with Bi- wire cables only a minor difference. I use QED 79 strands single cables that deliver the goods to the speakers. Don't waste your money on hype and sales pitch.

If youre going to take out the 4db curve, add the stormaudio curve in its place, and lower the left curtain of the subs to 10hz in dirac You'll get more infra bass, see what you think

great upload 👍. I compared the B&W CT7.3 myself with a relatively unknown brand, that is cheaper than the B&W, but soundwise at least as good: The Apserion Theatrus T80. I was really impressed with the sound. I found the Asperion to be a little more pronounced in the high frequency range, but without being aggressive/sharp. So it's also excellent for music soundtracks. Perhaps you can get your hands on the Asperion Theatrus for a test?

As a owner of the platinum 300ii I think monitor audio went cheaper on this 3G build,for one they lowered sensitivity made the drivers thicker and stronger so they can pump more SPL out of it,they also stoped using the premium leather no screens to protect the drivers made a hole in the speaker box for the traditional binding post and also went cheap on the footers and got rid of the solid bass with footers that are on my 300ii they also discontinued the great 500ii,so yea I think they went cheap on this build

Great comparison I could definitely hear the differences on my system. Very helpful! I've got the RP8000F II and I've heard the knock on them is that the midrange is better in the Klipsch models up the line. I do really like them, though, with a 20 degree toe in they have a seamless sound stage.

I own a pair of svs prime bookshelf speakers. They are great. I have also Dali Oberon 5's. They are very good too. Very clear and detailed but Im thinking about Svs Prime towers as I love my svs. Dali Oberon 7 or Wharfdale Lintons are also on my mind. How would you compare them to Svs Prime towers?

I have a A52 5-channel amp in my front room to run my center and rears and JC-1 Mono blocks for my front end. I want the A-51 for my Center and rears in my front room, and I’ll send the A-52 to my bedroom system which consists of a Klipsch 7.2 system. It will run my Center/rears/ sides. I think center placement makes sound more boxy. I would put it directly under TV.

Thanks. Dirac Bass Control is necessary in my family room. Usually manufacturers and enthusiasts recommend not mixing sealed and ported subs. But I wonder if it's now possible with Dirac Bass Control. Have you tried it? I have 2 x sb3000 and want more punch.

Those tiny speakers are those klipsch ? They are really awesome, how much are they I'd really like to have some.

I have had the Soundbase for half a year paired with my Buchardt S300 MKII which are already a warm(ish) sounding speaker or "neutral warm :D" and sometimes I feel like this combination is a little too warm and relaxed. I really want to try the M1 with my speakers
