I just got the bookshelf evolutions and I'm comparing them against my old RP-160m. It's a fight and part of me thinks I should just return the evolutions. The biggest difference is in the midrange. They both have similar levels when using rew, but the klipsch sound scooped comparatively. If the treble wasn't so bright on the Klipsch, I'd probably prefer it. The Klipsch sound like a live show and the evolutions sound like a recording. However, the live show sounds like it has a bad sound guy ruining the mids and highs. I still haven't decided but I can say the Evolutions are better overall. Are they $1200 better since I have the 160s... I don't think so... buuut. The Klipsch are a bit fatuiging and I want to listen to my stereo all day... Tough choice.
@@Condimenting nice to hear you take on the 2. It really is a personal thing, if you like the sound of the Klipsch but want slightly better try the RP600mii👌
I am really enjoying your demonstrations! I have the Titans in my home theater room. I brought them down to my 2 channel listing area the other day to compare them to my Martin Logan Aeon speakers. One of the things I found that the new Evolution speakers do REALLY well is the lower mid range. The brights are not fatiguing and the fact that the tweeter is crossed much lower brings a weightiness, or a layering to the lower mid bass that just isn’t there on my wonderful Martin Logans. These speakers continue to impress me!
Keep going great job I Enjoy your Channel Please test the Svs Ultra Evolution Center speaker Polk R400 Klipsch Rc-64iii with all the speakers you have for movie and music
Was the surbwofer s on? If you get a power amp like 250/300 Watts you will get more performance. I wish you can VS them with moniter audio silver👍 but make sure subwoofers off! @@homecinemaking397

I originally planned on getting these but decided to go with something a bit higher-end. I'm saving up for Arendal 1723 towers instead.
@@paulcanniff4308 mmm worth a demo on both.
Keep saving, price on Arendals goes up 10% or more this month per Arendal.
