@@johnathan-ericcasler9414 I am always amazed at the level of tech available to Joe/Jane Average Filmmaker. People are able to make fanfilms that practically rival Hollywood productions.
@@johnathan-ericcasler9414 Yes, indeed. Hollywood better look out, because there are people and fans out here who actually care about the properties they pay homage to. Sure, the companies may hold all the rights to such properties, but the fans and independents who make these models and as labors of love will gain far more recognition for their work, and the fans will be turning away in droves from the mainstream products to focus on these fanworks. Please, forgive the TL;DR, but I have to get this out there. Back in 2003, I stopped being a fan of anything, full-stop. Reason: When Ron Moore's Battlestar Galactica hit the SciFi Channel, I found myself enjoying it as much as the original Glen Larson series I loved as a kid. The story was in its own timeline, paying just enough homage to the original without aping it. Then came the factions: The old schoolers who hated the new show, and the new schoolers who derided the original for being too much like a kids' show. When both sides said: "You can't support both shows! You have to choose a side!", I dropped Fandom. However, now we look at remade movies and shows that are being all too radically changed to suit "current year" mentalities, and many such remakes want to rewrite, or totally delete the source materials of the originals. I am standing more and more with Fandom again. I still don't consider myself a fan of anything, but I fully get where they're coming from. So, when I see works like this (and I amateurishly dabble with my own fanworks), I keep hoping that one day, custody of the movies and shows we loved will fall back into the hands of those that actually care about them, and will give fans and followers the stories they want to see. When it comes to Star Wars under Disney, in my humble opinion, the Story movies (Rogue One and Solo) far outstrip the Sequel trilogy. In fact, Rogue One is my all time favorite Star Wars film, and I've loved SW since 1977. So, again, I see stuff like this, and my heart swells with pride.

This video is from 2010, and for that alone that is some very good CGI from that time period.
Awesome job!
😃👏👏👏
Absolutely, before seeing the date it was posted, I thought it was made recently!
Lol badass. I chuckled when he took off.
looks like Darth is leaving a lunch in the hills...love it!
The cgi really made the TIE look real. Great job on the editing
Not CGI !

I love the tie advanced x1
Very cool. It did look like a practical build there. I will agree that the scale is a bit small, but it is still a beautiful video. Well done!
No doubt, at the first seconds, I was like WOW, in the driveway??? OUTSTANDING!!!

i want one
When she asks which vehicle are you taking to work today! 👍👍👍
Vader walks out his Tie Fighter. The spectators: aren't you short for a sith lord?
I too thought it was a real replica for a sec. Good work!
He should have had the Tie Fighter do a quick car horn 'Beep Beep' as it pulled away. (Or, should I say flew away)
This is a great accomplishment to even pull this off; a lot of Technological Capabilities involved; Doesn’t matter what skeptics or naysayers say or think.
In my suggested feed 14 years later!
Hubiera molado más si Darth Vader hubiera aparecido y entrase en su nave. Un saludo desde Sevilla, España 👋
Man, that’s from 2010? That’s better CGI than I’ve seen in recent movies!
"Thanks again for letting me crash here while I got my ship fixed up. Ugh...now I have to tell the Emperor the Death Star blew up..."
Excellent!
magically flew through the power line...sneaky jedi mind trick
Well, that was the handicapped parking spot...
Well, Vader is a triple amputee.

I really like the part where his dog walks itself on the surface of Mustafar and rents a gazebo.
no CGI, it's real
Wow that looked awesome
Está genial!!! Parece totalmente real!!!!
Ever notice how Tie fighters and Airwolf make the same sound when they're flying?
Oh wow. I didnt know his TIE was steam powered!
May the cars be with you
That's one way to avoid traffic on the Cross Bronx.
For a moment I thought that was a replica 😅 very good CGI indeed 😲
OMG! Lord Darth Vader dropped by our neighbourhood?! 🌍
Predator Alien stealing a tie fighter.
yo bro this looks real, its over 13 years old imagine now. pro.
Another parking ticket narrowly avoided.
Looks great
Wrong places for the reactors. 😂😂
Vader's double parked!
That was great. Same thing happened to my X-Wing last month!
Yo!..that's no way to park that thing!
...🙄
You can make a Hollywood blockbuster on your iPhone now.
Impressive most impressive
If Darth Vader was 6'9 in his suit, this ship would be very cramped. Otherwise, good job.
Impressive.
Farts, gets out of bed, runs. Just like me!
He looked at the car park and seeing rebel vehicles decided that rebellion is over, time to return to death star.
“Well where are you? Wait a sec - you’ve been flying around for two weeks trying to get a signal?”
He took off so fast because he forgot his wallet and high tailed out before the water returned with the bill. :0
he just parked it on the parking lot lmao
Amazing!!!!! Ligth shadow sound animation wow you name it great work , a Tutorial would be great
But it only had one engine.
Good video, had me fooled for a while.
Colin Furze made a full size one. It's on YT. He's done a Land cruiser and one of them four legged At-At.
He must have the autonomous pilot "return home" feature enabled because nobody was inside it...
Would be great to add reflections in the cars. But for 2010 it's a really well done job. :-)
Looks great, but not sure about the scale... might be a little small
You can't park that there, mate. Now, 'oppit!

awesome
At least 20 G acceleration ...none human being can resist. I got the same in my garage
Thats a Prius among Tie fighters, Vader needs a SUV sized one

nice but it should be much much larger
Guess who came to dinner...

Awww, they messed up the look of the ion thrusters…
I'm surprised he didn't get a ticket for double-parking.
looks a little small I thought the tye fighter was about 16 ft tall at the top of the wings or up to 20' I'm not sure... it looks about half its size
Agreed. Vader would be pretty cramped in that thing
Looks more Grogu-sized. :)
The Empire was recruiting 5 year old fighter pilots. Gotta get them while they're young

Some did try to give it a paring ticket. That person has not been seen since. Though there was an unexplained pile of ash nearby.
