Star Wars Starships Size Comparison 3D

- in today's video, let's observe as many Star Wars starships as we can, side by side in a city to see how big they really are.
Which ship did I leave out that you want in there for a part 2?
Let me know so I can include it next time.

What's quite sad, is to imagine that the Death Star might have had 300,000+ souls on board when it was destroyed and that Luke would have felt them all turn off when it was destroyed. 😭
“I feel disturbance in the force as if millions of voices cried out in terror and we’re suddenly silenced”
It had nearly 2 million people on board!
@John Hightower what's sadder is that you can't really emotionally connect to a film you watch. Of course it is fiction, so no one died, which is why I said "imagine" and also you'll note, if youve watched the films, that Obi Wan felt all the deaths from Alderaan so its only film logical that "Luke would have felt them all turn off" as well. Maybe you should take some more time for reflection, I do it, it helps me alot.
Well, Alderaan had trillions of life forms living on it. The lives lost on the Death Star are pretty insignificant compared to the destruction of an entire planet.

I love how creative and original the new movies are. Just make a ton of slight variations on the Star Destroyer, none of which look as imposing as the original anyway. Don't see the point of all the new movies, just spinning profits out of a franchise now, nothing original to say with any of it and all just junk fan service nods, winks, references, homages, callbacks, regurgitations and repetitions of the same now thoroughly tired old themes. Half the movies now look like a computer game cut scene too, lifeless and sterile of any soul or even of anything of value to be read between the lines.
First Order be like:Yes I want all of the empires ships just make them bigger and more menacing,also...
"Does it come in black?"
~Bruce Wayne
I mean the empire just did that with the second death star, just bigger and equally menacing. Shame the supremacy got destroyed by bad writing
Yes, Mr Wayne, it does come in black
I mean the whole sequel trilogy seems like it was designed by a 12y old kid using his box of toys.
- "Its just like my old ATAT, just meaner and bigger! Like a gorilla!"
- "paint stormtroopers red! Red is coooool and badass! You know what? Make the whole room red!"
-"snoke is like palp, just make him bigger and even older than palp!"
Etc.
There was a great picture compering the ST, OT designs and the lack of creativity when it comes Disney trilogy.
Well the resurgent and a couple of others have a new design.
@@Pir-o the resurgent, MC-85 and supremacy is cooler than any ship design in legends.

Yeah, the ISD is way bigger.

I'm just glad they didn't call the Venator class Star Destroyer the "Jedi Cruiser". I'm not usually a violent person, but that gets me going.
Lucrehulk class battleship and Lucrehulk class Droid Control Ship are two different classes. They are both modifications to the original Lucrehulk class which is a freighter. In the end, they all look virtually the same.

This really puts size into perspective!! My only issue is that some of the earlier ships have inconsistent size comparisons when put next to the stormtrooper. Some of the cockpits look like they'd fit an average pilot perfectly and some cockpits look either too small or too big
That's because star wars vehicles are based on WW2 planes, and all different sizes... If I'm correct, germans commonly used very tight spaces inside their planes and tanks, like the jagdpanzer 38 that was a very small and tight vehicle that had a crew of 4 people, while planes like USA's P47 enjoyed a larger comfy space inside the cockpit compared to the BF109.
So that's really not an inconsistency from star wars side.
@@kingofchrisyou sound like a history teacher no🧢
For some the cockpit glass might look huge, but you cant discount how much space the control console takes in there. The ratio is pretty nuts in an x wing.
Even death Stars 1 and 2 are so small compared to Earth. I have always imagined in my mind that the death star is something like half of the our moon size..
