First it had the TFSI motor, now the TDI motor.
But which one is quicker?

People dont understand that diesels are fast
And those who believe it don't want to admit how bad diesel is for your health !
Diesel is shit. They vibrate like attractions and sound too shitty. In top speed petrol is faster. There isn't even 1 sec difference. Diesel just have better acceleration at lower RPMs. They're so bad for health. They litterally destroy the world. Supersport cars are PETROL. I never seen a diesel bugatti chiron...

At first, different weather is directly affecting power. So S4 tfsi was in worse conditions. I have timed my fully stock S4 tfsi: 0-100 4.4s and 100-200 12.3s.
in summer you have even better traction
s4 tdi had worse conditions
@@matrix3713 wrong, with +5 there is no traction issue at all, on stock power level. But +15 for tfsi is too hot, after 150kph to maintain the intake temps cool. So tdi definitely had better conditions.

@@KingModestCars I belive tfsi had better condition,yes air is a mayor thing in racing but lets forget air the diesel engine has all the torque you need 700 nm

@@tv321123 this is supposed to be slept on; you know just a daily diesel nothing impressive until you get gapped silently
I have no idea why the S4 Diesel is faster - it has less power, weighs 160 kg more and is on winter tires.
Maybe the faster shifting and the 700Nm 🤷♂️

I have a S4 3.0TFSI its eqipped with 20" tires in the summer and 19" in winter. Must say that it is noticable more nimble with the 19" wintertires, acceleration wise.
Petrol one wasn't launched correctly
I have this s4 b9 avant. Did 4.45 on dragy 0-100 354bhp standard.
My S5 2018 does 60 in 3.98 stock
How did you measure it?

60mph is less then 100kph, you will always have better times for 0-60mph then 0-100kph, very often cars need to shift gear up to go pass 96kph.
My Citroen 2 CV does 0 to 30 kph in 14 sec stock...
There is no way that the diesel is faster. Every 100-200 acceleration and 1/4 mile test shows that 3.0 TFSI is faster..

Der Diesel ist sehr gleichmäßig und hat immer eine gedenksekunde
Habe den TDI mit ABT Tuning, 385ps, 760Nm. Dagegen kannst du den Benziner in der Pfeiffe rauchen… auch im Thema Spritzigkeit. Vom Durchschnittsverbrauch von unter 7Liter reden wir gar nicht. Der Diesel ist um Längen besser als der Benziner..!!
Spritzer sollte sich aber eher der Diesel anfühlen, da die 700 NM einen doch heftig in den Sitz drücken sollten…

In höheren Geschwindigkeit spielt die Masse der Räder nicht mehr so eine Rolle
Il y a toujours des hasbeens qui aiment le diesel ? Incroyable en 2022... C'est vraiment se voiler la face pour ne pas voir les dégats sanitaires que le diesel génère ! M'enfin c'est plus facile d'être dans le déni plutôt que d'admettre que l'on s'est trompé. Mais même à ceux qui sont encore persuadés du contraire je ne leur souhaite pas de vivre ce que j'ai vécu à cause des particules fines. M'enfin sachez quand même que ces dernières sont les principales accusées pour de nombreux cancers des "partie molles en formation" des enfants ! Mais shuuuut, continuons à faire comme si ce n'était pas vrai...

Tolles auto und 0-100 gute werte. Die 100-200 finde ich einfach nur schlecht für so einen teuren sportwagen. Da ist mein golf gti clubsport mit 11.5 sek deutlich schneller. Und wenn ich mir einen neuen s4 für fast 100.000 euro kaufe und langsamer bin als ein 50.000 euro golf dann habe ich schon keine lust mehr auf das auto
Fast Halb tonne mehr im audi als golf und nicht so viel ps differenz
