long time no video. So now I’m back.
Due to the spontaneous decision of making a video of the car it only has a SOC of 30%. The video should just give a general information of what the Hyundai IONIQ 5N is capable.
A video with SOC 100% will follow in a few weeks.

Holy shit thats actually cool!! I hear a lot of people hate on the artificial sound but I really need to say it like the whole concept. You can be driving around chill and quiet but if you want, you can get sound and emotions by the press of a button :D and you always have something to play around with in manual mode
I actually like it too. I don’t like that most EVS are dead silent so the Ioniq 5N is the only EV thats truly swooned me
Its basically a dream come true. I have had this idea in my mind for such a long time but it seems Hyundai beat me to it.
I test drove it on Good Friday. Performance wow. Gears & engine noise work really well. Mad. But I couldn’t justify the outlay so got my deposit back 🫤
You have to turn off the E-shift and drag it. If you change the gear to drag it, it slows down. Turn on only N mode and turn off E-shift.

He should make a test with over 70% state of charge, only then you have the best performance i think.

There are no gears bro. It’s an EV.

I don‘t like to say it but this is pretty cool
The car should turn like a go-kart, where all of the heavy parts like the battery, motors, and body are built on a ladder frame with the battery in between. The centre of gravity is par with the height of wheels. Well done, Hyundai.

SOC & Battery temperature is crucial for best 0-100km/h time. You gotta use battern DRAG preconditioner to heat up the battery for the best result.

Many electric vehicles are much faster than similarly priced ICE vehicles.
But driving feels boring or slow.
It's like sitting in a much faster Boeing than a Lamborghini, much more boring.
You are not an Uber Eats driver. In fact, there is absolutely no reason to go a few seconds faster.
What matters is the speed and enjoyment you feel.

My old 2019 model 3 performance do 1,9 sec, 80-120 ( racelogic gps box) and ~ 5 sec 50-150...
But after 150 it is slow...
What is wrong with the car? I mean with 605 hp and 770nm of torque it should perorm a lot better then 11,94 seconds in 100 -200 km/h. Im I missing something???
Where are the tests on a charged battery? As far as I know, going 100-200 should take 8 seconds

Does it kick down when you have it in “D”?? For example you are cruising at 60mph in 8th and hit the throttle, what happens there?
It does a simulated kickdown yes.

With 29% SoC? And he used the fake shifting (slows down the sprint) and didn't used the 10 second boost, for whatever reason...

The 100-200 time is really bad for over 600bhp. Normal i30N needs 14sec with only 280bhp petrol engine. Why is it that slow?

Wow, pretty slow on the regular street compared to the EV6 and M3P
low charge and simulated shifts. the simulated shifts arent just sound but it will mimic the torque loss on shift points and even mimic an engine bogging down as you bounce off the limiter.
It's a feature that is optional and can be turned off in the settings. if ran like an ev without those simulated features it is suppose to be faster than a model 3 or model y performance or even a mustang mach e gt

Eigentlich kann da etwas nicht stimmen... mein EV6 GT liegt bei ca. 9,3 Sek. 100-200km/h und hat dieselbe Technik verbaut.

Er bricht erst unter 20% sehr stark ein
@@timo8884 ich habe per 10% alle Modi gemessen, bei 20% genau liegt es bei 14.29s, bei 50% war es bei 11.66%, bei 30% liegt es auch schon bei über 13s. Ich habe gehofft, das Hyundai es geschafft hat, Leistung bis 20% gleich zu halten. Es nervt schon, dass das Auto nicht gleichmaessig beschleunigt.

Hyundai bekommt das schon deutlich besser hin als andere Hersteller, es ist halt ein generelles Problem der Technologie. Bis 20% zieht er schon noch ordentlich. Ich komme eh nur bei Langstrecke unter 50% da ich ihn vorher immer zu hause lade.

605 ps??? Lächerliche Fahrleistungen! 🥱🥱🥱
Ein rs6 fährt ne 11,7 100-200 und hat dabei mehr Drehmoment. 0-100 Werte interessiert doch heute niemanden mehr.
Der hyundai macht anscheind 100-200 ne 12,5 mit 30% ladung. Der rs6 wird bei 100% vollem Tank auch ne 12er Zeit machen. Der 5N macht übrigens ne hohe 7er Zeit bei 100-200.
@@patricksingh8295wtf ein rs6 braucht doch keine 11,7s 100-200. Das ist vieeeel zu viel. Der braucht 8 oder so. Zum vergleich: bin mal einen alten rs4 b5 handschalter gefahren. Der hatte mit 450ps (getunt) ungefähr 10. Mein blödes model s p90d mit 540ps braucht 8,5…

The old Tesla Model 3 performance from 2015 is waaaay faster with 150 hp less.
Even the Model Y Perdormance is much faster than that thing with "650 ps"
He tried the manual shifting, didn't use the full Power of 650PS and it just had 29% SoC. Usually it does 8,xx sec times 100-200 ...I've even seen 7,xx sec times.
Know your place before barking. Y can't even track and slower under 30% SoC. i3 will def blow away 3. Not even mentioned v2L.
Teslam is crazy. Known for superslow under 30% SoC, no v2L, no fast charging. Y can't even track. Don't escape to 3. Ioniq3 will blow it away.
