I don't believe in any religion, but logically speaking, it is better for these lower castes to convert, because staying Hindu is not doing them much good (they are actually being killed for praying to the same gods in temples, and riding on horses 🤦♂️). And if they join RSS then they will get brainwashed and start harassing others...
So conversion is the best option for them.

"Isms" are more like sects of a religion (eg. Sufism, protestantism, Catholicism).
The reason behind ‘Sindhu’ being pronounced as ‘Hindu’ is the absence of initial ‘S’ in Old Persian language, the language of early invaders. Likewise, Sanskrit ‘Sapta’ became ‘Hafta’, denoting a week.

In India we didn't have any confusion. Suddenly this debate was manufactured by the toolkit gang to turn Hindu assertiveness into Hindu defensiveness. Everywhere we now see people defending hindutva which is essentially same as being a hindu. I see this as a failure on the part of establishment's media management that is allowing such a narrative to become mainstream. Once it is out in open people try to give their own meanings to it whereas in reality it is pretty simple thing as explained here. One official statement from Govt of India or Supreme Court of India would have put the debate to rest. I don't know why they don't do it for the welfare of more than 80% of population. If this gets misunderstood it will have dire consequences for Hindus across the globe as they will be targeted. Who will then be responsible for it?

What verbal gymnastics, song and dance are we to use my friends from world's largest democracy? It is beyond a reasonable doubt that Pakistan is insurgent sanctuary - India does not need lengthy proofs. We all know it. So, why hasn't India obliterated Pakistan - which by all measures is extremely feeble country from economic perspective to crushing military defeats such as 1971? It has to do with one thing. Occupational force has no MORAL or spiritual strength! This is why India NEEDS 900,000 armed democratic agents in Kashmir. This is why US lost even with all the evident advantages in Afghanistan.
And the authentication of one's weak resolve is pointing fingers and blaming others and not taking the initiative against corruptor of peace.
You have tried, I can't blame you for trying because for the all reason you mentioned also justify British occupation of India, US occupation of Afghanistan, or all oppressive regimes but we all know, history is witness to the fact, that ALL oppressive regime eventually collapse even if they were hundreds of years ago or Kashmir.

But now if we lose this brand we could lose our culture of seeking. True seeking goes beyond believing and blind believing which many other faiths enforce to lead them heaven. But ours typically leads us to enlightenment and true freedom.

The "-ism" is mostly used to denote an ideology, like communism, radicalism etc. Christians don't use this "-ism" for their own faiths, ie. Christianity. Neither does Islam.
Catholicism, Protestantism, Reformism, Methodism, Papism, Sunnism... It is simply a matter of language, just like in german it would be "Protestantismus" with ismus instead of ism like in english.

Totally agree with this definition of Hindutva. Whichever religion you belong to, you are part of one family. This implies all in the family are treated with respect, fairness, empathy, support and truly connected. One cannot be a Hindu and compulsorily start forcing anyone to follow a particular practice as long as it is not directly harming you. This goes for treating those who profess practices of other faiths in a peaceful manner, your other family members (including your adult daughters, wives), with respect and as worthy of having their own opinion, way of life, etc. Anyone who does not do this, does not have Hindutva and not a true Hindu. On an individual basis, if someone commits a crime (from any faith, including Hindu/Muslim/Christian, etc.), there are legal recourses and not individual edicts.

Sir you made excellent points, and one more thing I think is important to add is, In our Indian scriptures, nowhere it is mentioned that it is meant for "Hindus".. All Dharmas , Puranas every thing is meant for the whole of humanity, not Hindus. This is not just evident, every dharma, story always talks about "Manava" which means humans.. not Hindus.. so there is no concept of a limited group in Indian scriptures, which easily nullifies the concept of religious group or ideology such as Hindus or Hinduism..
Secondly, Vedas are not easy to study even for so called Brahmins.. Only a specific group of Brahmans who start studying at a very young age, learn how to study and understand the Vedas.. For rest of all of us, Puranas, Bhagavat Gita etc. are the more accessible and the convey the same concept as in Vedas, irrespective of which family you are born into..
Manu's(vaivaswatha manu or our last manu) subjects are maanavas.,not all humans.he founded ikshwaku dynasty.
other human races of that time are advanced and would not mingle with maanavas.they are
Devas
Asuras
Yakshas
Ghandharvas
Kinneras
Kimpurushas etc.

Respectfully disagree on one point: it is not a religion.
To be called a Hindu is to to embrace the thought process that originally emanated from the Indian subcontinent that one is free to choose any system of thought or non system, belief or non belief, but ultimately all lead to self realization and enlightenment over many life cycles. Hindutva is the qualification of such thought process in an individual in Sanskrit or hindi terminology. That's it.

I submit that hinduism cannot be called a religion in the purest sense of the term since it encompasses a whole body of varying thoughts, ranging from unsubstantiated belief to non belief to self realization. It is not a body of uncompromising tenets or beliefs unlike the Abrahamic religions, nor does it have a finite start from a single source or text. I humbly concur with everything else in the video. Such clarifications are necessary in Hindu culture and need to spread around for uniting the Hibnus. As per me, a Hindu is someone who follows any one of these:
1. Worships one of the 5 majors devas: Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, Ganesha, Aditya (or Surya).
2. Worships avatars or local or regional forms of the above devas. (e.g., Hanuman is Shivavtar).
3. Worships the god in the form of formless parabrahma as per vedic philosophy.
4. Practices and believes in the 24,000 years old Vedic knowledge, principles, and gods therein.
I say to all converted Christians and Muslims: your ancestors too followed these thousands of years old concepts
and were Hindus once. They were converted by force, manipulation, or maybe even ignorance. Time to correct the course of your family line and come back to your original religion. Become Hindus as you originally were.
To Hindus: I recommend following the talks of Shankaracharyas and studying vedic principles no matter what caste or community as long as meet one of the above criteria (only my opinion). However, know that for 24,000 years it's the Brahmins who have preserved and spread the knowledge of Vedas and Hinduism. So don't hate them because of politics. Just like there is clear evidence of Kshatriya rulers leading the fight to protect the land from invaders. Shudras and Vaishyas have their glorious contributions as well. Be proud of your caste, but dont discriminate for politics. Let's unite as Hindus.

The problem in India is we're too caught up with all these identities. No need of all these explanations.
Culture is what we do on a daily basis -- how sincere we are in our work, who we respect as our leaders, how honest and direct we are in our dealings, how much idle talk we do, how much empathy we have and such. Can we name one "Hindu" leader who is completely transparent in their dealings and working for the good of the entire country?

Religion can't be imposed on one. Explanation is quite simple and up to the point. Politics started stirring the issue, like people don't know about cooking suddenly enter the kitchen and even without tasting it they started adding the condiments and spoiling the food not only eating but also indigestible. Similar to each body structure has inbuilt with so many programmed design it is also each religion has their body structure and design. Until otherwise you can't substitute salt for sugar and also sugar for salt all your activities are damaging the society.
