That Time Home Improvement Borrowed an Armageddon Movie Set

From a discussion on a Home Improvement Facebook group, many thoughts on what set Wilson's basement in the episode Thanks, but No Thanks from Season 8, Episode 10 was from. I initially thought a 90s Batman film's Batcave, but Al Borland himself, Richard Karn, chimed in to mention that it was a set from the 1998 film Armageddon borrowed from Michael Bay.
In this video, I found a section of the film Armageddon which shows the sets match. The two white arrows in my video show a two pillar rock formation and then a tree like rock formation in both the Home Improvement episode and the Armageddon film.
