There was an Illustrator Sneak last year that went some of the way. It could recognise raster text and turn it into live text with the right font. I realise that is basically OCR coupled with the sort of font matching websites there are on the Web, but I thought it was pretty cool. In fact I thought last years Sneaks were probably better than this year's.

After shouting at the screen when Project HiFi was demonstrated, because as much as I love FireFly related features, I really don't want them to the exclusion of everything else in Photoshop, it was Perfect Blend that got me excited. OK, it still uses Ai image generation, but this would be genuinely useful on a daily basis. The cynic in me has me thinking that this is the one that will never see the release version, exactly like the remove reflections Sneak from last year (I think it was called Project See Through). Or going back about 10 years to the Extract Shading Sneak that would have been a huge aid for compositors. So please Adobe. Make This Happen! And make it happen soon.

The last image is a bit of bs because if it was truly black shadows their would be no data to recover. I was able to take a screen shot and do a level adjustment in photoshop and you can still see her face and most of the details. So its just ultra low lighting, but usually when dealing with images like this you are dealing with data is compressed and thus lost. I highly doubt it would be able to recreate her face with a truly compressed image.

I could use the Perfect Blend for some of my poster work, promotions for concerts, theater and ballet to make more use of the catalog of past solo images to combine individual shots of the cast members in my collection in promotions for an new upcoming performance.

I'm curious as to how it handles different skin tones, because it seems like it makes everyone light skinned.
You can search for a Chinese retouching software pixel cake that can imitate colors, and it is the best I have ever used. 像素蛋糕
