The past about diet affecting ring size up to a half size made me chuckle. I started a new medication last year that made me lose so much weight my wedding ring now fits comfortably on my index finger. My ring finger had to have shrunk by at least two-and-a-half sizes!
I lost about 50 pounds some years ago, (unfortunately, they found me again lol) and I lost my wedding ring because it was so loose on my finger, it came off with the latex glove I was wearing at work, never to be found again. I didn't even realize it came off until my wife noticed it was missing from my finger that night at dinner. OOOF!
good tip. about checking the size of your finger a few different times. Like right now/today, my fingers are apparently a little thinner? My rings are all a little too loose. the Top/face of my rings have been slipping over to the side. ~so that's been a little annoying. I like my rings to be faced up /centered all the time, of course. So,🤔 as I've had my 2 (real) Rings since the late 90's /was a teenager when I first got them. =] I think it's time to have them sized down for how my fingers are now today. =] ..maybe sharing this experience will help someone else encountering this!
My knuckles are not wider so how can I tell? a size ten is a little harder to get off but not at the knuckles and when I take it off I see a a mark where the ring was and the skin is redder. a 11 comes off easily and doesn't leave a mark, but isn't loose either. It wouldn't come loose shaking my hand.
I fit at size 5 and a half but the store i want to buy a ring from doesn’t make half size rings so i should either go with size 5 (a bit tight) or size 6 (a bit loose) any suggestions?
