    Hi Richard, nice video! A typical issue with the pre-lps is the exhaust temperature module (located in the passenger rear wheel well). This module along with new exhaust thermocouplers solved my CEL issue. Apparently the connections can go bad or the module will go bad despite the connectors.

      You are totally right Justin! Ive had a lot of people tell me that they get that code for the EGTs and that module after washing their cars.

    Brother,
    My G will throw banks 1-5, 6-10 about once every couple of months. Car runs fine with it on, I clear it as Code P1400. The mechanic says it's a passive code so not to worry, but nobody can seem to be specific on the cause. It does it here in Phoenix because it's so hot, and the car hates when the ambient temp is soaring in the hundreds and you take it out! aggghhh

    Hi Richard great video as usual I wanted to ask you a question would you know how to wire a new connector to the camshaft positioning sensor. Mine got too hot and fried so when I was changing my plugs pulling up on the coil packs the connector just disintegrated and the wires pulled out of the actual assembly for the camshaft positioning sensor so I ordered a new one and I don't know the order in which I need to hook up the wires the new connector has a green wire a yellow wire and a brown wire I'm assuming one's a constant power wire the other one is a ground wire and then there is a pulse wire any ideas on how to connect them to the right wires so I don't cry the computer ECM?

    • @TheBullRider
      @TheBullRider  2 года назад +2

      I can help you with this Nicholas, are the pins of the wire in good shape still or do you need to repin the wires? Let me take a look at my car and Ill shoot you an email with the correct order!

      Thanks for all your help! Hopefully you received the updated info and pics in my last email/comment. I know sometimes my communication responses are sporadic to say the least. Since relocating my time is all over the place. But today I plan to spend some time on both Lamborghini's. I ended up getting the service, repair, maintenance, part number/price list manual and now looking into scanner code reader/reset. I watched your video suggestion of the inexpensive scanner but is there anything around a price range of $500 or is it a waste of money just keep budgeting for Texa / Lara

    • @TheBullRider
      @TheBullRider  2 года назад +2

      @@nicholaslynch7157 Nicholas, sorry for the late reply on the emails sir. I did get them though, just a bit busy on my end! Haha
      And in reality there isnt a good scanner for 500$ unless you have a LP and can use VCDS.
      I am doing the same thing as you and just budgeting for Texa. In all honesty, Texa is a bit better than Lara for the price you pay and what you get in terms of support.

    I hate those codes... They always pop up just when I need to pass a smog check for registration renewal. You fail immediately if you have a code showing.

    • @TheBullRider
      @TheBullRider  2 года назад

      Oh yeah I am all too familiar with how cars of any kind LOVE to throw codes and not pass readiness right when you need to smog anything. Just tape over the warning with electrical tape? LOL

    hi, my LP-560 (2009) gives me 7 errors on each control unit in diagnosis, the problem occurs after it has been disassembled for painting, it remains in recovery. The reading codes say that the problem is on the air flow meters, on the doors, the remote control door opening does not work, esp does not work, the climate does not work. Before painting everything worked, could it be a connector not connected all the way or something else? Thank you very much.

    • @TheBullRider
