yeah thats why my mini theory is that they do infact age but have an extremely long lifespan (which is a common fantasy trope for dragons already) which is why they appear to not age when they actually do
Man, I remember doing my first tombs in Skyrim on launch, there are a lot of broken round pots sometimes they where in or near oil and my feeble mind got terrified thinking I’d have to battle a nest of young dragons at the start of my Dragonborn career lol. Thankfully I love the TeS lore and reading up on it so I corrected my mistake not long after, yet somehow the magic of those broken pots left the gameworld. I think they kinda dumped their own potential by having the dragons all be some sort of minor deity that’s always going to be an unchanging force of destruction, you can already see them writing about dragons trapped in ancient ruins in ESO and that looked awkward af. Since everyone loved the dragons I bet we can expect more dragons of ancients times being trapped at various places because ‘they sell copies’.
I hid myself in a bush in front of your house with audio equipment. Oh I waited for days, but I managed to paste the words together and now I had glory.
There's a good way to explain this through an analogy: in Warhammer terms, dragons are daemons of Akatosh, as in personally autonomous but subservient parts of his soul and being, and effectively extensions of the god's will. In the same vein, all dragonborn are somewhat like champions bearing the mark of Akatosh, naturally born creatures whose soul is claimed by the god and who are through this irreversably bound to him.
Well, The Old Efnohey, the common ancestors of Elves and Humans, were essentially lesser Aedra who, unlike The Nine Divines, the Dragons, and possibly some other races such as the Spriggans, took too much out of themselves in creating The Mundus to remain immortal, neccitating that they maintain their numbers via reproduction instead. This could have come about in one of two ways, the first being if these lesser Aedra were granted this capability of sexual reproduction by one or more of The Divines. The second possibility is that The Old Efnohey, having took part of creation, unlike the Daedra, still had some of this power within themselves, potentially using it in order to create physical shells for themselves, or something like that, that allowed for this self-replacement as a means of continuation of culture, based on how the already created intended mortals, the Beastmen, were created with said function. If this latter explanation is correct, I see no reason why The Dragons, being much more powerful Aedra than the Efnohey were, couldn't similarly grant themselves this ability as well, although their pride, a quintessentially Draconic personality trait, would have left few if any willing to do this, especially if reproduction and immortality were mutually exclusive. Nevertheless, the Dragonlings, while almost certainly another race of Beastmen, could potentially instead be descended from a few Dragons who, as they were losing The Dragon Wars to the Atmorans, or as they were being hunted by the Tssesci of Akvari, decided that they were more prould as a species than they were as individual Dragons, their now mortal descendants of whom would have gone through evolutionary pressure through the next few dozen generations to require less food, which as mortals they now would have had to devour regularly, as well as to be able to hide more regularly, until their physical forms became as is seen inside of Daggerfall. Just a hypothesies really.
Totally love a break down of the Godking Human hero Reman Cyrodiil the First whom may be Reymon Ebonarm. Oh boy dud I piece stuff together! And wonderful video man!
I made it with the help of a friend of mine who got his hands on an after effects file of some sort. So we used after effects, but I am not an expert haha.
Because they’re literally small fragments of Akatosh himself trapped in immortal yet material form… You would never ask why Angels don’t reproduce with each other…

@@eldawansy1129 In the real world, there are lizard species that reproduce asexually (whiptail lizards do, I believe, for one example- there's even a Pokemon based on this species where only the females evolve). Basically, females will simulate sexual intercourse with each other to stimulate ovulation and reproduction. With these species, I believe there are males but they're so scarce that the chances of finding them are super small. That's why these methods were instilled. So, given that info, I could see TES lore coming up with a similar take if they ever introduced something like this.
About the gender thing. Yeah, if you subscribe to kirkbride's ravings than their do exist male and female dragons. The drakes are males (the ones we see in the games) and the Jills are female. Jills apparently help Akatosh by mending time. Also, supposedly, Bethesda was going to use the Jills as Alduin's elite guard, implying their stronger than most drakes.
Can the wabajack transform a dragon into a human? If so, would she be fertile? What if the transformation ended when her human form was pregnant? Can dragons fall in love? No matter their form.
but the dragons are not created in the same time since we have dragons who are really younger than others, like that one Paarthunax send us to capture at whiterun and there is dragon defined by their age like ancestral dragons.
I get it. And agree and disagree. Because there are mod's were one can conjure a dragon that will fight for a character. Soooooo I would like a quest to be able to still an egg and then raise a dragon to ride and summon as I see fit. D&D is the one that started all this before Elder Scrolls. Sooooo again, whatever, I personally would like to be able to do this. Ok then. Nuff said. . . . . . . Also I so enjoy your presentations. It's all about the voice and presentation. Soooooo that is why I enjoy what you do and why I enjoy watching your video's. Keep up the good work and be blessed.

No, the French versions of the games have always had edits. The English version is the primary source. The French version of the player's guide to TES IV also added another member of the Septim bloodline.
Jonathan Aisel when it come to Tosh Raka, we don’t actually know if he literally turned into a dragon or if it was more figurative. Some people think him becoming a dragon was a title bestowed, him learning the dragon aspect shout, or even maybe actually becoming a dragon. Because we know very little about Akavir and the events that take place there, it’s kinda hard to know what exactly happened with Tosh Raka. And what Imperial Knowledge meant by “no new dragons are made” is that Akatosh no longer makes new dragons.

I like the idea of female dragons just because I don't want dragons to go extinct
They could just reproduce asexually, there don't need to be genders. Or they could all be hermaphrodites.
