The Lightning road is really easy for beginners (Only problem is the mirror portals)
Obviously the easiest demon is Free demon by player
iSpyWithMyLittleEye is another super easy one. The raw gameplay is around 5-7 star difficulty gameplay, but it is demon because the effects make it look much harder than it actually is.

Everyone says that ship part in The Nightmare is really awkward, but I just don't get it. It's actually really easy to sightread. It's not that bad.
i think its because a lot of people try to straight fly through it instead of just holding/releasing like the level intended
its 1.2, the levels from then are much harder to understand the gameplay of, due to most players not knowing the style the community built in back then
and before you say rob wouldve built in the same style, he never did, his levels are unique in their own way

7:12, there is a skip: if you skip the ball portal and go to the roof of the ship you can skip it and you dont need to worry for the ball

imo "shapes and beats" is one of those levels that's rated hard demon but i'd say it's barely an easy demon if a demon at all, most ppl beat it under 100 attempts
it doesn't require any in-game experience, just some basic timings and memory, you even have 5 lives to work with

Another really free easy demon is Firewall by Rawin, one of my irl friends beat it quickly and his hardest is probably Shiver so...

Permafrost mountain has another secret way.
If you get ~70 clicks before the first fall, your player will say "I should avoid going further" "I'd rather go back" and you will start going backwards and then you get teleported to a beach, and there are no obsticals, and you get the Good Ending.

What about the level named "The long walk home", i think it deserve at least an honorable mention. It is somewhat long and so easy. It was a weekly.
i believe it's technically brainfugd, as a youtube guide will allow you to clear

Wow. I spent 700 attempts beating clubstep on mobile for my first demon when I could've literally done any of these. At least I know they exist now so TOE2 ain't gonna be my 2nd.
I beat clubstep for my first demon with 3k att and now I have beaten Nine Circles. I don't recommend just beating super easy demons ALL the time, but at least give your self a challenge and goals for harder levels you want to beat, like for me it was Nine Circles. Take a step outside of your comfort zone, 700 att for your FIRST demon is REALLY good, especially clubstep. You are probably much better at the game than you think. But of course, you do you. I'm not just gonna sit here and tell you to do things you don't want to do. Just my experience though
toe 2 was my first demon, its a super fun level imo, the 80% ship is a common choke point and sometimes the 90% ufo but other than that it's really fun, I still haven't beat clubstep, toe 2 is way easier than clubstep
There was a level in 1.9 called cosmic dreamer, it was unrated due to having secret ways but 8 years later has actually been updated to fix secret ways and added coins, it was rerated back to a demon.
Still one of the easiest demons in the game

Change of Scene and In Silico are really easy but there both 3 minutes long
IMO, Brainfugd by Spu7nix is the easiest demon. By watching a playthrough on youtube, you can completely bypass all the skill and the only other hard aspect is the jank controls which are still pretty intuitive.
Personally I’d say Brainfugd is by far the easiest demon
I'd say God Yeeter by DanZmen is really easy. It only took me like 67 attempts and it is easy to sightread

It is but demons with secret ways get patched, so keeping it out is better for the video so it’s more relevant in the future
I haven’t seen the full video yet so I apologize if you mention this but I think ABCDEFGHIJK is the easiest demon due to its secret way
There's a level I haven't seen anyone talk about. It's Nyct0 by Xats. It's as easy as Distal Corridor in my opinion and I've beaten both. It's basically a 5-6* with some choke points(mainly from sightreading issues) and an 8* wave towards the end.
People probably wont see this since the video has been out for about a week now.

The easiest demons by far are The Farewell by JonathanGD and Castle by Jeyzor
I've tried to find the easiest for a while now and personally, Weird World by Tinraz is the easiest.
Noone is talking about ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRS which has a secret route at 13% also being my first demom ^-^

To be honest there are a few more very easy demons even a starter player can beat. For example the alphabet one (abcdefghijklmnoxyz). The secret way there is still not fixed and you can jump into the wall.
I think change of scene is one of the easiest demons imo, I beat iS in 300 attempts but change of scene in only 104 attempts, is my skillset problem or something else idk
The start of Permafrost Mountain is just put a bunch of spikes, then put a bunch of snow so you can't see a fucking thing and expect people to just do it
and what about play with fire? it's literally like 6 - 7 stars, and i managed to beat it on my phone, which is rly saying something
PartiDoraFunnyMul by Mulpan is an entirely memory based demon but after a few practice attempts I could beat it; and I have only beaten 5 other demons

There is a level I think you should check out called caput munda which is a really easy level that imo is easier than some of the lower levels like iS

I know it was mentioned post video but demon mixed is a REALLY easy one, it takes some of the eaiest parts of some of the easiest demons leading to only having a few wacky clicks
I've spent like 10x the time getting to the mini wave on death moon consistently compared to how long I took to beat demon mixed, and I just started playing on pc
demon mixed is easy but there’s a stupid memory part at the end and a lot of bugs
Neat video, but Draft Theory is easier than Distal Corridor and Altos Odyssey imo, it's basically a more sightreadable and easier Distal Corridor for me

Theres this one demon level that is just spammed objects. Its the reason Ive only beaten one demon so far
There was one level that I remember beating called DeaDrop which was so easy I beat it on mobile with a stylus...and then beat it 5 more times. It's very easy, only the beginning being slightly annoying and the coin path being easier than the regular path. The ENTIRE drop is just wave spam, which I found to be very easy (it's not hard spam at all) and the end is also slightly annoying, but other than that, DeaDrop is extremely easy.
I'm tryna beat it right now actually, was gonna comment about it but saw your comment. The only hard part in the level is some of the wave spam which doesn't require much skill

I know you said permafrost mountain was the only secret way you wanted to mention, but abcdefghijklmnopqrs has a short easy opening followed by a frame perfect (Very generous for a demon, and it’s a 60fps frame perfect) and then it’s free.
But tbh I got the Permafrost Mountain secret way before abc… so uhh. (I got the secret way with the robot which I couldn’t recreate even with frame by frame.)
"castle" is pretty easy, has 1 blind jump section though and you need to be decent at ship
i've beaten the nightmare, the lightning road AND demon mixed on the same day. I would say the that's also the difficulty order from easiest to hardest. (back in 2016 lol)
Another really easy level is iSpyWithMyLittleEye. It is just very flashy and can require some skill and memory.
Prism peak by bli, its also the easiest demon i think..
I think Firewall and the weekly demon, Electro House, are very easy.

Speaking of free demons, Braindfugd by Spu7nix is a completely free one. If you are smart than you can try programming yourself and if not just search any gameplay of it, copy the code down and get to lv 4 where you'll LITERALLY GET A FREE DEMON.
You missed God Yeeter, Outlive, Voices In My Head II, Hold On, DeaDrop, Bloz, neXus, and Born Survivor.
I don't entirely umderstand why people think The Nightmare is harder than Platinum Adventure. I think that it is by far the easier of the two, just the gameplay is awful i wouldnt want to wish it upon my worst enemy to play it.
you missed vvvvvv, an easy demon thats just a platformer. if you learn all of the parts you could 1 attempt it. also another one is desert bus. it is literally just a 5+ block gap ship for the entire level.
Motivation by Rockwizard5 is the easiest demon for me ._.

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRS has a secret way at 13% and the level from 0-13% is extremely easy. It was my first demon.

so I tried permafrost mountain and I got the frame perfect in 60hz in 1 attempt.....in practic...e... mode...
imo the easiest ever is brainfugd which is very easy demon and if you have any knowledge of programming or an answer key you can finish it with ease.
I think abcdefghijklmnopqrs deserves a spot due to the easy secret way at 14%
