In my opinion, explorers is great, you just need to train and it transforms from a extreme demon for a hard one, the comunity exagerated a lot

Explorers is definitely getting nerfed since Robtop said (in the premier) its in 1 months in production so some stuff are gonna be changed massively.
I still think explorers is gonna be really hard, but that makes sense. It will be the hardest main level in the game. (Medium demon)
"1 new feature every millisecond"... With the ppwer of basic math (and the length of the video) I conclude that there is a total of 480600 features in 2.2.

I don’t think so because there are map packs and gauntlets and there are 30 new gauntlets coming in 2.2 so it will be redundant

I personally think dash is the best level so far. The hype MDK and Rob built for the secret song is insane and the level looks really good. Insane difficulty should be fun and accessible for almost all players.

Cob mentioning that he's been playing this for 4 years reminds me of how long I've really been playing this game. I mean I remember I first played it when 2.0 was first released and I was considered a newbie, compared to some of the new top players I'm an OG lol

nahh, explorers is 2/10 for me. platformer looks insanely good though
im giving rob the benefit of the doubt; tbf there are tons of new features and hes only one man, he cant slowly introduce them in more levels than necessary because it would just take too much time. so yeah i also like it

hope the checkpoint lightning effect can be disabled because it could be annoying for some creators who want "silent" checkpoints

1:53 I can't be the only person who believes that that new "spider orb" shown in sneak peak 2 isn't the actual spider orb. Think about it, if you look at the orb shown in the sneak peak 2 and the spider orb's reveal they have similar but different functionalities when compared. The spider orb acts like an instant blue orb but the one shown in explorers acts like an instant dash orb, where you set where it will land.
This is demonstrated in sneak peak 2 where the first "spider orb" the player has normal gravity but is forced down, the direction of the arrow doesn't change either so it isn't the colour blind settings enabled either, unlike the blue orbs arrow.
If it is a completely new orb I say we should call it the directional orb.
If not it's the spider orb.
I tweeted at the man himself but I haven't gotten a response so only time will tell.

@@Cynderace yea, that's what I thought. But calling it a directional orb makes it easier to differentiate.
The background of the third sneak peek looks very similar to the Toxic Wastelands in GD World. It’s a small but crucial detail

The one thing I don’t understand is why people want explorers to be nerfed especially the static camera section. Isn’t memory supposed to be part of a demon’s difficultly ? I want the slaughterhouse wave to stay in the level tbh
I honestly have high hopes of 2.2 releasing on August 13, 2023 because with both of Rob's other sneak peeks were on Geometry Dash's birthday, but the third one wasn't

Also there is a Green portal which flips your gravity to the opposite (aka if upside down and you go through he Green portal you will have normal gravity

In explorers during that one part where you jump through the skulls, you can see red trigger orbs in their mouths which might be death orbs (orbs that kill you on touch)

The first thing that I am going to do is copy a slaughterhouse layout, put a start pos and put a 0.1 timewarp. Fun :)

About the whole blue coin thing, one theory I had was that its just for completionist sake, just like a secret coin in a main level, and a counter would appear on the end screen showing how many have been collected out of all of them (in a similar way to the collectables in Yoshi's Island).
well robtop showed a collecting coins thingy like the red coins in mario so it could be that too

i think the dot checkpoint was just a placeholder design
