My idea of the future: Spring: The cube game mode but jumps higher. 2.3 Car: The cube game mode but faster and doesent jump. 2.3 Frog: Spring game mode but jumps higher. 2.3 Bullet: Wave game mode but faster and looks like a real bullet. 2.4 Top down: You can make maze puzzles or just create pac-man 2.4 Spike traps: Makes the spikes go up how ever you want. 2.4 Doors keys and locks: Perfect for top down. 2.4 Lava: Spikes but liquid. 2.5 Bossfight levels: Play the original amd find the boss fights. (Unlocked by getting colored box) 2.5 Sword: First ever useful item! Jump to attack, it also works best for platformer game mode. 2.5 Wings: Like the bird game mode but as an item lol. 2.6 Change text: Change the text instead of the old classic version. 2.6 More things at 20 likes.
I love how most gamemodes, when in reverse gravity, are not usually any different than regular gravity. But for some reason, Wave in reverse gravity is the most frustrating thing to use

As a creator, the wave might be the most BORING vehicle to work with * It moves exactly the same with different speeds * Green orbs, blue orbs, and gravity portals are all treated the same * Yellow orbs, purple orbs, red orbs, jump pads are COMPLETELY IGNORED We end up with a vehicle that doesn't have that many possibilities other than to make hard/cancerous gameplay or generic gameplay, and both options suck. If you ask me, the ufo and the ball might be the best vehicles. Ufo: Ship, but it actually syncs to the song Ball: It literally interacts with gravity. The reason for it to be better than the spider imo is that you can use stuff in the air at any given time, with the spider you can't unless you jump, which is impossible for the spider without help.
Agree except I just hate playing ufo so yeah Wave is my favorite game mode but it’s so boring to create levels to, and ball is by far my favorite game mode to make levels to because there’s so many unique possibilites

My favourite custom game modes are the snake, a wave with a purple dash orb stuck to it, and the ninja, a robot that when you get close to a roof you switch gravity
The Wave, Robot, Spider, and Swingcopter are pretty much evolved versions of the Ship, Cube, Ball, and Ufo respectively Wave is just a ship with consistent speed going up and down Robot is just a tap+hold Cube Spider is a near-instant Ball Swingcopter is a gravity switching UFO
How to make the hardest gamemode ever: Step 1: get a wave Step 2: get a mini portal Step 3: make it dual Step 4: put a gravity portal And there you go you made the hardest gamemode ever
Oo i just understand one more thing, that ball was created in 1.2, and the swing copter was made in 2.2! I hope you understand me, like if u replaced number 1 in 1.2 as 2 then u would get 2.2, and swing copter is like ball, but combined with another Mode. I mean mode which is like you play as other character, like wave, ball, ufo and more.
The mirror portal doesn't exist in 2.2 because we have the reverse trigger, reverse direction trigger, arrow trigger, rotate camera, and the split screen shader

In all fairness, the blue jump pad has been around since the beginning, since it was used in Back on Track and Polargeist. So xstep really only added blue jump rings

personally, I like mirror portals used a couple times in levels, like bloodbath, in the ball part.

While it was added to the earlier levels in later updates, they did not initially feature those orbs/pads in 1.0.

Swingcopter idea: lock a green orb to the player in ball mode - has larger boundaries since you don't need a row of orbs and allows for duals.
