100 is a lot better! Mic wise
JBL Quantum 200 has a bit better noise cancellation, while the 100 sounded more natural. The difference is a lot less than people here are acting like. That said, yeah, JBL could definitely have done a better job in the mic.
Quantum 100 haves a better microphone, i'd go with it

I find the mic sound on the quantum 100 definitely better. it doesn't sound muffled to me at all, in fact i'd say the 200 in comparison sounds a bit metallic, hissy and lower in volume.
I'd love to hear them with background noise though, to have an impression of which microphone cancels out better any sounds that might be coming from uncontrollable surroundings
It’s like JBL released them in the wrong order. Why even make the 200 ?

As someone who owns the jbl quantum 100 headset. The mic quality is great and if you think the mic is too small you can bend it to be more straight... The audio is great but it lacks in volume and it's quality drops after awhile of owning them... But other then that great headset and I strongly suggest them if your on a tight Budget
Uhm what can you say about the suround sound in quantum 100, can you locate enemies easier or no?

@@narx2392 yup it's still alright. Still using it today actually. Only issues is for FPS games you can hear the left and right sounds but It's hard to tell for footsteps above or below. Tbh right now I'm considering upgrading to the Razer Blackshark V2. But for the price range and for casual gaming I'd definitely recommend this headset!

How do you set up the mic? The mic volume in my quantum 100 is so low, i can barely hear my own voice when i test my mic.

Hi, could you help me to take a decision about the following:

JBL Quantum 200
Cloud Stinger Hx-hscsc2-bkww Hyperx
Cloud Stringer Core 7.1 Hyperx
Were you using the windscreen foam for the 200 when recording? (dunno if this have much effect though) And were the distance from your mouth the same? Just can't believe the 100 sounded a lot better. Was expecting similar or better performance from the 200.

Yes I left the wind screen on the 200 and they both were the same distance when recording. I'll be making another comparison video with the 200 hopefully later this week.

Yes it's decent with music but the 200 is better.

hi i have the quantum 100 model but my mic volume is so low in all programs, my mic volume is at 80 (I took it out to 100, it makes little difference). When I plug another microphone into the computer, its all fine.Can someone help me with that?

What is the wire length of Quantum 200?
One feature I always want on my headsets (which reviewers NEVER mention by the way) is removable earpads. I want to clean them regularly. Can you tell me if the Quantum 100 and Quantum 200 have removable earpads like the Quantum One?
I can tell you why they don't show removing the ear pads. They're usually a pain to put back on LOL I'll have to check when I get back home.

Ear pads are removable, as in the padding and leatherette material together pop right off. I thought I broke it but popped back on LoL

200 is a little better for that, but I have to tell you neither of these block out surrounding sound that great.

When I connect quantum 100 to my laptop with single 3.5mm jack provided the mic does not create a different profile it just merges with the webcam and both work simultaneously. Any solutions ?
I read somewhere that you just need to plug them and that's all

Maybe try a different splitter or different audio jack on your computer if available

I would say they are average for music and movies. Regular headphones are usually better than gaming headsets.

from my experiences, the quantum 100 has a better mic and is cheaper while the quantum 200 sounds better and is more comfortable.
The clarity of the quantum200 Mic sound is better, if you have noticed there was like a raining background noise from quantum 100. I don’t know if it’s only me who could hear.
Could be just something in the background on the 100, I need to find a better spot to record audio!

I noticed it too. Mic sound more bassy on the 100 but heard the static like background. 200s seems to dim that out but less bass in the voice.

Quantum 100 waaaayy better
First sampling of the mic quality for the 200 didn't sound too good, as if the low frequency was getting cut out. Second sampling was slightly better. Both samplings of the mic quality of the 100 sounded with a better bass, and much closer to your mic setup (whatever it is) to when you were unboxing them.
