They are both Savages & Amazing players❣️Living & Playing in Chicago I was really rooting for Mike.. I do really like Keating in these games as well….I wish they ran it twice 😕 They are both amazing players ❣️❣️
For people saying wtf, you need to know the context of this hand lol 1. They are playing 4 handed 2. Texas mike is down more than 1.5m 3. Alan keating has been bleeding from 3m stack to 1.5m stack in the last couple of hours and is quite frustrated
Also, Keating knows Mike is not fundamentally sound, goes for flashy -EV play (The T2 play was a disaster that just happened to work, Mike thought he was a genius… nope). Flipping against a lesser opponent is fine because a) Keating had sufficient bankroll and b) Keating want to take the shot to stack Mike before his money is milked away by others at the table.
Say what you want about the Texan. The guy was holding tens and announced “once” in a 2.2M pot before seeing the cards. Against an opponent who almost snapped. That’s gangster
@@California_Poker running it once or twice has nothing to do with skill level lol. People do it to reduce variance in the long run. If you're a great player taking a shot at a bigger stake game because there are a bunch of whales in it, then you absolutely should run it twice in really big pots to reduce variance. Has absolute 0 to do with skill level.
Keating is one of those players that's very dangerous when playing for crazy money with infinite bb, but would get hammered in a 100bb 25nl game. Having a big pair of balls is still effective at live nosebleeds it seems.
keating is a showman. it's not lost on him that this is entertainment and 30-40k people watch these things live. my hat goes off to him. even if i had the money i'd be tearing my hair off my scalp if i had to flip for a million bucks. and texas mike let's just say he's the boss hog
Texas Mike is a WSOP bracket winner. Jamming with 10s seems to be a tournament move not so much a cash game move but i get it. Great action just Keat is never folding.
I agree. I think the play for the tens is call pre flop and see if an ace or a king hits. If he loses to a queen, fine. But the all in play is to get your opponent to fold and Alan Keating doesn't fold very much in this scenario. The best scenario for the tens is call, see an ugly board and allow Keating to punt. Or just get away when the ace hits.
'Roll management dont matter when you have multi millions and also a constant stream of incoming monies due to your business success, its merely the inconvenience of going to the bank and hooking out some money, or get it forwarded to the venue via electronics.
Yea that was a tilt shove. A bit understandable given how light keating had been 4 betting, but he had position post flop. Mike could prob get away cheap on that runout if he just flats the 4b. I guess he technically got a worst hand to call, but coin flip is his best case scenario if called. And if keating has air, he can extract more money from him post flop in position
I told Texas Mike this exact same thing, told him to go back to Texas and stop coming to these so cal casinos where the poker talent is too good for him. I was trying to help keep him from going broke and he had the nerve to block me
I'm not surprised! Umbrellas keep out sunshine as well as rain. Your advice was questionable. It could have gone either way as it always does. As good as keating is I think it was the aq that had no business calling there. But that's my opinion.
Keating called that 800,000 dollars like me when I tip the dealer $5 after a big hand... This guy has either ice in his veins of he is VERY VERY rich... Awesome reaction.
