      It sounds hilarious in a normal sense, but for this game, it's only 130 big blinds. 43 big blinds when they're the big blind because of the ante. So essentially, it is crumbs lol

      A big check-raise on the river usually shows monster strength. I mainly fold when it happens to me (much lower stakes of course) unless I think my opponent is a maniac who often gets out of line.

      Whenever someone says that out loud, they should just instafold to the r-r ai. It's a tell on themselves. He doesn't beat any part of his value range, and the bluffs are QT or some other missed spade draw, which he even blocks.

      Agree completely. The commentators should speak when their words *add something to the action*. When the action is all there, and we all know what's happening, they should keep quiet... which they did. Very good.

    @HCL: you guys should consider making title screens like "2.4 million pot?" with a (?) question mark, that way the spectator can enjoy the sweat right along side the players instead of knowing for a fact that the player would call

      @@alex754411 it was a bad call. A lot of hands beat rahul in this particular hand. But Alan is known to bluff at a VERY high rate. Queen/ten of spades was certainly in Alan’s range. As well as something like Ace/ten. Two pair is hard to fold against a guy like keating. His bank roll is just crazy he plays like a madman 75% of the time

    As much as i have seen Keating, i know that wasnt a bluff. Keating doesnt usual li y go zero to 100 aggressiveness in a hand. Unless he hit and was doing that to someone who hasnr played him before.

    We need a heart rate monitor on the players. Even little motions like 8:41, Keating 100% sees that in his peripheral vision and has to not react but for sure beleives that a grab for the cards means a fold and he's lost out on an extra 800k. Many actions like this, it would be so interesting!

      I know it’s easy to sit here and think we can know what’s best but I completely agree with you. I don’t see how you can stick in 400bbs there on the river with so few combos making that jam that you’re beating. I liked his style though with the call just putting the chips in Keatings’ stack. He at least saved face a little there.

      There's a saying, if you call it's over, if you check it's over. If you bet, then your opponent can shove, are you prepare for it. If not then better to check.

      @@ctnelsoncar Because it's Keating, who can _absolutely_ find a bluff there? Possibly. But given what the pot had grown to, and how it got there (nearly pot-sized bet+call on the turn), I think that Rahul needed to weight T9ss higher. His initial breakdown was almost dead-on, and Keating's probably only continuing with his best draws to that turn sizing. Yes, even Keating, because SPR is shrinking fast when Rahul bets near pot on the turn, reducing his implied odds. I think that bet-call to a click-back makes sense, and bet-fold to a jam. If he's pulling that bluff at that point of the night, God bless him. That game is so juicy that you'll find better spots.

      The only hands that make sense that beat him is 9Ts or 56s. Any flopped set would’ve raised flop or turn or would’ve flat called the river not check raised all in. So most of his hands are bluffs except the 2 hands I mentioned

    If you saw the interview afterwards, Alan says he was trying to act nervous because of something Rahul said earlier in the game. Watching this back, he as overly nervous, especially after Rahul said if you have 10 9 that was good. Normally Alan is calm so this was the perfect acting job to get the call.

    Atrocious call. Him having spades makes it very unlikely Keating has Spades (which he has, but that's irrelevant). All sets and all suited Ace two pair combos beat him. EVERYTHING beats him. Typical indian macho. Let them he heroes and call that.

And he prob thinks 9T offsuit doesn’t call that big turn bet. So he literally only loses to two hands there 56ss or 9Tss. He is blocking spades but as u can see his opponent did still have spades so the question is would Keating do this with a hand like KQss

      How many none nutted hands is keating getting to the river with and check shoving. If he had a set or a good two pair hes shoveling money in on the turn or just calling river. Rahul is repping a strong range so Keatings check all in has to be a strong range as well because bluffing their is suicidal since Keating is blocking the draws if he bricked.
