      @joeyralston3773 It's still clickbait. Which is frustrating. Not to be mean or rude, but when creators rely solely on clickbait it shows they have no creativity or actual content. They rely solely on the misleading title/thumbtail. I stopped watching this guy almost completely now. I can't trust anything he posts online anymore.

      There's a catch. It's a streamed, high-rolling cash game. So it's a bit of a different beast. Hustler isn't interested in those who aren't doing such sub-optimal things. They want insanity and canage. Nitting up or even playing reasonable isn't going to keep you in the game. As in, try and do it even once and it will immediately earn you an uninvite.

    This is the type of crap that happens to me. A bad player is playing bad for whatever reason, but also for whatever reason they get rewarded for their bad play. I never blame the player though, they can play however they want. That said, they most likely will lose in the long run. But it’s still frustrating when they make objectively the worst possible plays and hit runner runner perfect.

      Not really, I think he put the Professor on a J like QJ, KJ and he put the Texas Mike on a draw like 9 10, he was trying to squeeze the Prof. whilst thinking he had Texas Mike beat in the BB he could be playing anything. He had an 8, so the chances of someone having J8 was not that great, and who plays J 4, so he played it like he had QQ, KK or AA . I mean, he was wrong, but you would be surprised how many times that would work if one guy had a draw and the other had QJ.

Get checked raised another 30k additionally, that raise gets cold called by the third party, and then you jam in your remaining stack for an additional 4K more against the two dudes who are completely to committed to calling you with the obvious third best hand. Just stellar work by Brandon.

      It depends on how many times the players agree to "run it" and it just means that if they run it 4 times there will be 4 different outcomes and the pot will be split 4 ways depending on who wins, its basically there to help someone who went all in get atleast a single out and keep some of the money, that's why on the first draw Brandon got the win but they all agreed to run it twice and Professor got the second so they both got 1 win out of the 2, if they just did 1 run like normal the straight draw would've hit and only Brandon would've won

    • @delta5ff
      @delta5ff Месяц назад

      @oaotrevor5476 it must be a cash game thing then? I'm used to league and tournament play and have only sat at cash tables a couple of times. So was it normally even split between between the players when they run it, or does the first winner still take a majority?

      @@upturnedblousecollar5811 Your response is completely illogical. You have no idea what level of player I am and there is no way that this is good poker. I do not have to be Doyle Brunson to know how poor this kind of play is. These streams are an entertainment product and this is not how real poker is played in any skilled capacity. Thinking that there is an argument for putting all of your money into a pot where there was a pot size bet and a massive over call with second pair and a backdoor draw is just lunacy. Generally speaking poker played on streams is meant to be an entertainment venture and the level of poker is extremely dumbed down. If you are a proponent of this type of play I surely hope you come around to my cardroom quite a bit I would love to sit with you. -)

    This is the scariest aspect of poker, and why I don’t play big stakes. You could be a 9 to 1 favourite ten hands in a row, but the 1 to 9 dog can win all 10, and crap like that happens too often for comfort.
    Can’t imagine what Brandon is thinking there. He knows his opponents have either J’s or an overpair, and that if he shoves it’s only an extra $4k for each to see the board. One of the most brainless plays I’ve seen.
