I think Manhunter staying hidden during Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice makes sense, but he should have been there in ZSJL. Look at how the people viewed Superman in DoJ. Probably not a good idea to publicly reveal himself yet. Better saved for a more accepting world like in ZSJL

Except tthat invisibility is literally part of Martian man hunters powers. So he could’ve helped out and most of the world wouldn’t have realized it. Heck he could’ve made himself look like someone else and fought zod or doomsday. He could’ve pretended to be lex Luther and shut the whole doomsday thing down before it started

I love this Hishe Snyder Cut it's very hilarious and some makes sense like why would Martian Manhunter didn't show up to fight alongside the Justice League. Or even fighting against Doomsday and Zod. Even Cyborg's father should have done that (trick Steppenwolf) instead of sacrificing his life. I can't wait for Hishe The Batman!!!
In defense of the Martian Manhunter thing, Snyder wanted it to be a Green Lantern, but was told no. I'm pretty sure that's what Batman's whole "It would at least make sense if you were some space superhero who couldn't make it in time!" line is referencing.
Steppenwolf broke the container holding the mother box, he easily could've destroyed the canon heating up the mother box and then busted out of the container.
Basically, that wouldn't have worked.
I think that one weird green parademon that looked different from the others was actually Martian Manhunter spying on Darkseid's forces. he also appears in the Knightmare timeline. he lands atop the destroyed car, makes a noise, and that's when Batman and the guys come out of hiding

Oddly, this episode of HISHE felt like it went by super fast. the diametrically opposite feeling I had watching the Snyder Cut.
This is something that has been on my mind for a very long time. In the past, why didn’t Zeus and Ares finish Darkseid off? I mean he was unconscious and really weak after Ares axe attack, they kinda let Darkseid live. And also we saw Artemis (I think, or else Apollo) destroy a space ship with her arrow. So when Darkseid fled, couldn’t Artemis just destroy their space ship, and Zeus and Ares could also for that matter. Zeus and Ares can both shoot Lightning and they are stronger than any other old God. I feel like the old Gods kinda let Darkseid live
I mean they were kind of occupied stopping the Unity.
Wouldn't do much good killing Uxas if they and the planet are wiped out.
These are good points. Plus this Darkseid doesn't have the Anti Life Equation so it would've been easy for them to kill him without the risk of the Multiverse being destroyed, I think.
They didn't let him leave, his soldiers retrieved him. Also, technically Zeus could hit him again with another bolt but he went for the motherboxes since they would literally destroy the entire world. Add and some plot armour that exists in every movie in history and that's how he escaped. Btw, it was Artemis, it was nice to see her being op for once since they usually neglect her 😟

A good point, but if I remember correctly it ultimately doesn't matter. You can't really kill Darkseid for good, he will resurrect.
Ok, alot of hishes haven’t been as entertaining recently….
But this one was a rare exception. Had witty humor and valid snarky criticism pulled off in a very entertaining way.

@@justablink8086 I feel like most modern hishe is relying to much on social media references or referencing itself like modern hollywood which is just lazy and I appreciate original and more witty humor vs just showing something we know from something else.
(Ex. Rexy wasnt just a reference but a criticism of how Rexy has devolved from real animal predator to super hero who saves the heroes constantly in fallen kingdom.)

To be fair, if you look all there recent Hishes, they posted the Spider Man universe like 5 different videos in a row. As well skipped Eternals.
When you guys were still on a website pre-RUclips and had this status update bar for videos I asked about it. Someone from HISHE said it was really just an embarassment of a feature at the time and it disappeared. Im really glad to see how far you all have come in that time since.

Darkseid didn't forget where Earth was. He didn't have the world's name aka Earth, WRITTEN DOWN ANYWHERE and only knew the place as "The world that fought back". You can't forget the name of the place if you never knew it in the first place.
Except steppenwolf should of known this was the planet the fought back immediately when the mother box called out to him as the planet that fought back and the place where they lost the mother boxes are the same place

About Darkseid forgetting where Earth, one of trillion planet, was, he lost the mother-boxes which acted as GPS and datalog on that planet forcing him to do the slow processing research while dealing with internal business. Maybe make that part as alternate take showing how Darkseid had to look to the anti-life during five thousand year. Also, missing is the conversation between Desaad and Steppenwolf which begged HISHE take like Steppenwolf stating to find the anti-life location prompting the reaction of Darkseid,

The reason darkseid couldn't find earth again was because a civil war was raged on apokolips after darkseid returned and it destroyed all their records and maps. That's also why steppenwolf wasn't exiled because he sided against darkseid.
They had time for nordic girl sniffing aquaman's shirt and batman on a horse, but decided to not show the war of Apokolips? Screw the Snyder cut, release the good cut!
