- A woman’s baby has been “booted out twice” during an Arj Barker comedy show and while appearing on The Project, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Trish Faranda had been attending the American comedian’s show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival when her seven-month-old baby girl Clara reportedly disrupted the evening occasion with cries.
The mother and daughter were then asked to leave the theatre.
Discussing the ordeal with Network 10’s The Project on Monday, Ms Faranda was holding and breastfeeding her baby.
After she finished breastfeeding, host Sarah Harris asked if the baby could be passed to her father.
Nothing worse than having a screaming baby spoiling your evening. Woman is just selfish.

@@ivareskesner2019 I think people must think that there is an "of" there after "shouldn't/should" because of the way we say it maybe. Like when we say it, we say something more like "shouldn't-av", which can sound like an "of" instead, I suppose. But that's just my theory haha

Good I don't go to an adult show to put up with a screaming baby
I’m a mother too, and being a GOOD mother means that you engage adult reasoning and never make your baby a nuisance. A fussy baby on a plane? There’s just nothing to be done, and passengers come prepared to cancel notice. A fussy baby at a restaurant, a movie, a play, a comedy show, etc... get your butt up and take your baby somewhere else to settle them. I did it with my babies, I still occasionally have to do this now that they are small children. So if I do this for MY children, then when I get the rare kid-free night out, I don’t want to be disrupted by YOUR children. This woman is just a lump.
Exactly, a crying baby on an airplane doesn't stop other passengers getting to their destination, but a crying baby in a theater does stop the other audience from enjoying the show.
Why would you take a baby to an evening comedy show?. At that time of night, the child should be at home and in bed. The comedian had every right to ask the mother to leave. Probably a fair amount of the audience have had to find child minders for their own children so that they can have a night out.

Honestly,comedy festivals are not the place for babies.I breast fed my 3 children for 12 months each,and I am sick to death of mothers wanting to breast feed everywhere.This is an intimate ,close interaction between mother and child.Not a thing to be doing in a public place.A comedy show is no place for a baby.It is such a short time in your life.Missing a show is not worth all this hoo ha!

I’m a single mum and I understand that if I want to go do adult things, I organise someone to watch my child. It’s that simple. If things fall through then I don’t get to go. It’s happened many times where my child got sick the night I planned to go out after waiting a whole month to go out, but it’s a part of life.

It's like when I see parents bringing babies or young children to a 10pm R-rated movie here in the US...stay home or get a sitter! Babies don't need a night out on the town. Her issue is that she needed to breast feed and couldn't leave the baby. But you can express milk occasionally. She states that she represents woman. Having a baby shouldn’t change your life in anyway, it’s not fair for a baby to expect you to miss out on all the things you did when you were twenty, baby should have thought about all that before it was born.

It's not about breastfeeding. It's about crying, whining and screaming. Breastfeeding would be fine. At least it would have something in its mouth to shut it up.

Look at this interview proving the point that the baby was disruptive and shouldn't have been there.
