Why does she have a baby at a comedy show to begin with?
After giving birth and dealing with newborn, you want to have some laugh
Why did the venue let her in in the first place? The mom deserves a lot of grief but the venue had a responsibility not to put the comedian in that position in the first place by enforcing the age limit and they failed to do so. The venue should really be catching a fade here.
Don’t bring screaming kids to adult venues… get a baby sitter or don’t go.
Totally aggree! What about ADULT friendly instead of dog and kids friendly.
Why is she playing the breastfeeding card when it wasn’t the case whatsoever.
Yeah, don’t bring a baby to a comedy club. How dumb
She’s probably selfish and doesn’t think her squirmy baby will EVER be an inconvenience or a distraction. Get a SITTER or don’t go simple as that
She just gave birth and wanted some laugh!
It had nothing to do with her breastfeeding…. Don’t report misinformation. She should never have taken a baby to a comedy show. She couldn’t spend an hour away from her child or was she chasing attention for her two minutes of fame. Arj was being considerate of everyone else paying to see him.
Who would want to pay to see him lol

@cricka09 OK, he sucks and I think breastfeeding is a beautiful thing. If a fucking comedian can't handle it, quit. I'd heckle the shit out of him. Do I get kicked out cus boo hoo he can't concentrate? Maybe she could not find a sitter? You whiners about babies, don't breed then! There, how did I do? Lol
@@cricka09 lol
@@stevemorash3206 very poorly, it's not just the comedian the whole crowds experience affected by some entitled mole and her baby. Oh yeah and also "lol "
It wasn't about breastfeeding but the baby disturbing the act making it terrible for the audience. The tickets were 15+ only. Be factual
ahhh makes sense
The mother should not have taken the baby to the show in the first place.
If she didn't want to miss the show, she should of made prior plans for her baby.
IMO,she was being selfish.I know if I'd used my hard earned money to be in attendance,I'm not wanting to listen to crying baby in the crowd distracting me from the comedian on stage.
Report the truth for crying out loud. She wasn’t kicked out for breastfeeding, she was kicked out because the baby was carrying on and disrupting everyone. It was an event for 15+, children weren’t allowed.
"The baby was carrying on.."
You're a tool.
And This has NOTHING to do with breastfeeding and we all know it! That baby was disrupting the mom in even trying to even give an interview! This mom is disillusioned.....it wasn't HER that wasn't welcome....it was the distracting noise of a baby. People going to this show expected no one under 15, and not everyone loves their babies as much as parents do.
I’m glad the crowd heckled her on the way out. That needs to keep going
Really? You’re glad a mother who was feeding her baby was heckled. You’re a different type aren’t you
She brought her baby to a adult show, she very rude for that
there must be more important things in life than this story. she was breast feeding on channel seven interview. shouldnt have taken the baby to a stage show. she s annoying.
Yeah good she was heckled. The dumb bitch shouldn't have been there with a baby. Fuck her
Absolutely playing every card in the deck to make herself the victim
She's misleading people: the point is baby crying louderly interrupted the comedian and audiences. 2nd she said she wanted relaxing then go to the show, then Why you took baby there? She is very contradicted, I don't believe her!
Comedian in the right. I’m Australian that woman has Karen vibes big time
That comedian has karen vibes, lol
@@stevemorash3206 not really
I'm 100 percent behing Arj. Dont go to a show with your baby. Dont bring up breast feeding. It has nothing to do with it, there are options these days the kid could gave been left with a friend, husband, partner or baby sitter with prepared breast milk or formula. Lets not try to elevate the breast feeding to a higher plane the baby will survive without mum for an hour or two with a reponsible adult. This mother is just after her 15 minutes of fame and maybe $$$, the media have jumped right on it and blown it totally out of proportion. The lady was embarrased, so what,! Time to adult! Nothing was going to happen. Being embarrassed doesn't kill you, everything is going to be ok move on.
Had this same thing happen while at a live stage Theatre Production, a woman came with a really young baby during the show it started crying and the management asked them to leave. Why bring a baby to a place like that in the first place. 100% behind Arj.
Im an Aust and I'm with Arj on this. We love Arj and his comedy is his work and should be able to work unimpeded. It had nothing to do with breastfeeding!!! The baby was making noises that interrupted the show for 700 paying guests. She was not booed. She was in the front row and with house lights, Arj can barely see the audience. We have wonderful awarding winning comedians in Aust who do mum and bub shows. Again, it had NOTHING to do with breastfeeding and more about Arj not being able to do his job IMO
The woman wasn't asked to leave because of breast feeding but because the baby was crying.
You are all wrong. She wasn't breastfeeding and the baby was being quiet. He was enforcing the 15 years and over show stipulation. Apparently he is concerned about legal action from the baby if it stayed till the end of the show.🙄 who's the real baby here? Someone get this fool a bottle stat!
@@kazbah1217 keep babies out of shows meant for adults, this isn’t difficult
Who brings a baby to a comedy show? Take breastfeeding out of this, if someone brought in a fussy, teething two year old to a piano recital and the kid was crying, what good person wouldn’t read the room and take the kid out to the lobby?
This mother is so entitled that she thought that it was fine to bring her crying baby to a show with 700 people attending. She was on last nights tv show with the crying baby and the female presenter asked her to give the baby to Dad as the baby was making so much noise.... Talk about a Karen.
I'm a single dad. I haven't been to a comedy show in years. Maybe wait a bit or hire a sitter? I'm with Arj. I don't disagree with the need to get out. It's just not fine.
Selfish.
Sorry but hire a babysitter like most of us do. Babies and children do not belong in these types of venues. BS on the breastfeeding as the problem......the woman admitted her child was "gurgling" (aka being distractive and noisy). The problem is that people pay a lot of money to get into these shows and they are entitled to not be constantly distracted by a fussy baby. I had a ballet performance ruined because a couple brought their disabled young daughter to the show. And she seemed non-verbal, but would loudly scream when she got excited by the show. In a quiet venue like a ballet theater, I was so anxious by the distracting and loud noise that I wanted to cry. I don't want to deny a young girl the chance to enjoy life, but for God's sake, what were they thinking!? The parents spent the time apologizing to everyone for her outbursts, which were not her fault, but their wanting to bring their child meant no one around her could enjoy or focus on the dance. Just because people can, does not mean they should. There are plenty of places that we took our ADHD child so he could run and be his jolly little self, yet not disturb other people while he did. Parks, outdoor performances, Chuck E Cheese, the Zoo....the kids don't need to experience fine arts.....they just want to be free and have fun. Choosing the right adventures allowed US to relax and have fun, too.
Baby got baggage already. Good one Mum.😢
This had nothing to do with breastfeeding 😂 the baby was crying it’s eyes out!!!!
This show has cut and pasted recordings to push ‘no breastfeeding in public agenda’.
The fuck is wrong with reporters? 😂
Mother has made this a media spin. Audience requirements was 15+ . The baby was making noise. Arj did the right thing. Blame the venue and staff and security. The mother needs to be careful. Let's hope the Baby doesn't have hearing issue down the track😢
The issue wasn't breastfeeding. The problem was the mother bringing a baby to a comedy show being disruptive. She should've used better discretion in that situation and stayed home. But, it is what it is. Sh** happens. 🤷🏽♂️
I’m with Arj 100%. Why would I want to pay to go to a show and end up hearing a baby gurgling. “She was just being a baby”. What??? This wasn’t the place to be a baby. Mother should’ve know this wasn’t a baby group so don’t try to make Arj’s the bad person, I applauded Arj for that. Babies go to baby groups not comedy shows.
Come on hes not even funny
@@stevemorash3206 Whether he is funny or not is not the point.
@keleth70 ya, it does. lol I'd rather hear the baby feed. At least, that's soothing and natural.unlike his comedy, lmao

Who the hell brings a child/baby to an ADULT comedy show??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If its a classical music concert... she would be kicked out too... or any other talk shows. Breastfeeding is ok pretty much anywhere as long as the baby doesn't cry.
I have no sympathy for the mum that got booted from the show. The venue should not have allowed the baby in there. If she wanted to see the show ORGANIZE A BABY SITTER, it’s not that hard. My sympathies go to the other people who paid to see the show not hear some baby noises disrupting the show and i sympathize with the performer who has to deal with that unwelcome disruption. If he was a bit harsh towards her then that’s unfortunate but she could have avoided all of that unpleasantness by not bringing her baby to that show. It’s not a daycare, end of story.
I agree Sam
This is one of those awkward situations where it's not going to go down well. Taking a baby to a stand-up comedy show isn't overly appropriate, and if a baby is excessively rowdy, their parent should deal with them discretely. It's unfortunate the comedian upset the woman, but should expect reasonable behavior from their audience, including a disruptive baby. The comedian at least reimbursed the mother with a refund to compensate her inconvenience.
Breastfeeding wasn't the disruption, the baby was noisy.
The most upsetting part of this story is that Arj Barker is still doing comedy.
Next thing babies won't be allowed on busses cuz it bothers the driver oh ya lol
You don’t have the right to go to a comedy show, her entitlement is infuriating. She needs to reevaluate how her actions affect other people. People didn’t pay money to hear your baby ruin a show. Get a sitter like everyone else has done forever
She’s just a clout chaser. She’s now got her 5 minutes of fame trying to step on someone!!
"Arj Barker”? More like Shart Farter..
Man was in a cubicle next to me one time and sounded like he was trying to pull start a 2 stroke chainsaw in there.
Don't know what he's eating but someone wants to look into that as it's probably not healthy.
My only problem with women breastfeeding in public as they never wink back
What's being overlooked here is the fact that the baby is crying all the time as it's being force-fed sour vinegar.
Someone needs to post the video of this night😂
I guess being on the hammer for years in Werribee changes your perception lol check out them eye sockets
Good one baby 🎉
The baby was crying 4fs get I right

This is no place to be taking a Baby let alone a toddler. Then she has the audacity to complain?! Then the media gives this a platform? What are these self entitled people thinking? Aaah. Forgot. They don't think.
true story. My grandmother grew up in the mountains of north georgia. Way back in the 1940's before infant formula was invented. Everyone had to breastfeed their babies or get a wet nurse.
She told me that they were in church and this woman who had been breatfeeding squeezed her breast and shot her milk into this man's eye. The preacher did not even NOTICE! i kind of got the impression that this mom was a teenager still an older teen and maybe the man that got shot in the face was the baby daddy but I don't know that for a fact. And one of the reasons why women don't succeed in breastfeeding in public is because of the SHAMING they get and older babies do NOT like to be covered up suffocating under a blanket. Yes breast feeding was normal back then and NO ON NOT EVEN THE PREACHER IN CHURCH BATTED AN EYE. TITTIES WERE NOT CONSIDERED A PRIVATE PART BUT A LIFE SAVING FORM OF NOURISHMENT BACK THEN BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS WAS!!!!!!
typo what it was! and I do agree with the audience I would not take a BABY to a comedy show especially when the tickets said 15 years and up. this story has definitely been twisted in some ways.
