    The magnetic feature is terrible cos some pans for some reason it isn't working

    • @Bunce1949
      @Bunce1949 10 месяцев назад

      Then you are not using the correct pans. Induction hobs rely on pans that are magnetic. Its common knowledge, just stick a magnet on to a pan before using it, if the magnet sticks then its fine. If its something like aluminium, then its not. Simple reallY. Nearly all pans sold nowadays are suitable for induction hobs, just check on the label before you buy one.

    Every once and a while ours display “A” on the status, and heats up the pan to an insane temperature. What is A, and why does it pop up? Sometimes it just changes automatically

    • @kevinkonster
      @kevinkonster Год назад

      It is not a problem, it "should" give clicking sound when using low power. Actually heat plate turns on and off constantly, because it is more energy effecient than limiting power (so low). Or that is my guess actually. But have used 10 years now and works perfectly despite the clicking.

    • @clausspringborg
      @clausspringborg Год назад +1

      @@kevinkonster I had mine changed and the new one did not make the clicking sound. So fortunately, the clicking at low heat is not something one has to accept :)

    • @kevinkonster
      @kevinkonster Год назад +1

      @@clausspringborg Mine is having quiet clicking if used below "boiling power", so usually when just keeping food warm, but not actually cooking. It has not bothered me and cannot hear it if few meters away. And seems that it is not critical as it has worked fine full decade.

    This is the worst cook top i ever used and id advise everyone against buying it. The stove turns off itself in a middle of cooking if you spill some water on it. Its garbage

    • @allmyothersubscriptions
      @allmyothersubscriptions 4 года назад +5

      Don't spill water. Buy bigger pans.

    • @Hamachingo
      @Hamachingo 2 года назад +2

      That's a safety feature really. Put a wooden spoon across the rim on pots when cooking pasta; keeps the foam from overflowing.
      Or just put a towel between pot/pan and induction stove. Might change color after extended use but barely gets warm and you never have to clean the glass top.

    • @MsBlonde0000
      @MsBlonde0000 2 года назад

      @@Hamachingo who wants to cook with wooden spoons and towels laid out on the oven? How is this suppose to work if I have three pots on the stove?
      Again, this cook top sucks.
