Thanks for sharing the video. I am thinking to buy this one. Does one of the left zones take larger frying pan such as 28-30cm? What happen if the bottom of the pan is bigger than the cook zone? Thanks
thank you, it's incredible that one needs a video to learn how to turn on a cookin' machine. I know, read the manual, but too many products makin' too many problems, it's a shame that they just cannot settle on one standard.
Since youre the only reviewing this it seems it wouldve been nice to know a bit more about the controls. For instance; can you cycle through the heat levels by lowering/raising it level by level? Otherwise how accurate are the numbers? How do you put it on 12 or 13 or the in between numbers? Or what happens when u spill water? Also wouldve been good to mention you dont have to switch between the zones everytime you want to operate one of them. A huge advantage over the competition these days. (Horrible trend) Anyway thanks for reviewing this.
Hi thanks for the comment! Nice to hear mine is the only video!! If you scrub your finger over the control it’s very easy to set the level accurately, a bit like a volume control on a touch screen. If you spill water on the hob it either carries on fine with a bit of fizzing sound from the water on the pan or it shows an F on the display and you have to mop it up. Agreed with the individual controls that is an advantage over the competition I forgot to mention.
Not being an electrician, I think it would require a 32A fuse only if you connect it to a normal 230V socket, i.e. one line conductor. If you're able to connect the brown and black cables to different line conductors (phases), each would require only a 16A fuse.
does your pots and pan warp using this? I have seen reviews online that they have warped their pans. I have an induction from a different brand myself, and my pans warp as well. Just wondering if this cook-top provide a large enough magnet underneath?
@@Jacky_xu for example the pan in the video. I use it for boiling rice or pasta and put the hob on full power to start the water boiling then turn down to 10-12 to keep a rolling boil. It is a pro cook pan
@@Zimpaz thanks do much for the fast response... they dont put that in the pros and cons videos! (I currently have ceramic and hoping to change) do you find the buzz irritating or a bit of music covers it. Thanks.
@@happydays4302 you can hear it in my video here. It’s no louder than the gas noise on my old hob. Hadn’t even really thought about it until now so don’t really notice it!
nice review! i was cooking on a similar AEG induction hob last night and thought it was great. I've since been looking and AEG do an induction hob with a gas wok burner... think that's the one for me! 🙂
I had to check this video to learn how to operate cooking machine in my new place.😂 Thanks
Dankeschön 👍🏻 perfekt erklärt 😊

The main factor is the size of the induction coil under glass top.

@@Zimpaz awesome thanks!
Have you tried different pans to eliminate noise I read the noise can be caused by using pans that work but were the wrong mix of metals.
That’s interesting! No I still haven’t tried any different pans!
Hi, a question about electrical connection - the hob needs to be hardwired for obvious reasons, right? It's a 7.4 kW. But is 32 amp fuse enough?

Now that is a blast from the past. 15 years ago now. I haven’t played for years!
Classic WotLK just came out so it's like the good old days! Murloc kebab was the best one ever 😅
Thanks for your video. I think I'm going to get one too! I just wanted to ask. Does it make clicking sounds when you have all 4 on?
Just tried it and no it doesn’t. Plenty of humming though with all 4 going. Don’t think it’s any louder than a gas hob
Would you boil water quicker with a lid
Yes absolutely would that’s a valid point

I have not experienced any warping from this hob and I use it daily.
@@Zimpaz oh nice~ what sizes are your cookwares that you use most often? do you preheat them before cranking them up to full blast?

I own a similar AEG hob, made Murlock kebabs last night.

Does yours also make the buzz noise?

I'm going to buy this induction hob too, just wondering if the timer function can auto switch off by itself or just a reminder timer? Thank you!
Yes the hob turns off when you set a timer on it
The noise seems annoying. Still looking for the one…..
It’s louder on this video than real life to be honest. I don’t notice it using it daily. It’s certainly no louder than the hiss of gas

One of the reasons I went induction was to stop burning fossil fuels but I can see the appeal of having both!
@@Zimpaz depending on the country, 30-90% of electricity still comes from burning gas and oil (about 34% in the UK).
True. But it’s improving all the time. Burning Gas isn’t getting any cleaner

Same problem did you get to resolve it
Why does it not get hot but keeps on flicking f
Sounds like you pan isn’t compatible with induction
Hi that stove has fuse or not
감사합니다
thank you
👍
I was not impressed by boiling water test. Surely an electric kettle would do it quicker?
You need to put the lid on to compare. I have this hob for 4 years. It boils very fast.
This is a very valid point I probably should have had a lid on for the test
@@amandabosca1714hello i have code error E fo you have any idea
You are talking far to fast. You have to talk slower in this situation. It doesn't help at all
You’re the first person to make that complaint! In video settings on RUclips you can slowdown (or speed up) playback
