great video mate. perfect response. in the end we are not blizzard and don't know what blizzard is thinking. so any new change could potentially be intended and its up to all goblins to decide if they want to cash in on it. because the ones that farm early are the ones that make the big $$. i wasn't sure about the scarlet set as didn't hear anything on US about it dropping lately (but of course its rare) so im glad to hear someone in your stream got it.

I mean. come on. let's use some common sense here. It's a change that allows you to easily make 500k in well under the previous margin. There is no logic, none whatsoever, that says this isnt a bug, unless you purposefully want to delude yourself.

Just stumbled across this video after watching several of Studen's videos in the past year. I could tell WTBGold was a poser years ago after watching several of his videos. I got a response directly from him once that was extremely evasive, he literally didn't answer my two very direct questions at all. He knows how to make gold. I know when he doesn't know what he's talking about, and when he's misleading the viewers. I stopped watching years ago.
I get what you're saying, he went about it the wrong way, calling people out isn't the right thing to do even if you don't use names, but using the bug to your advantage is different from getting the items naturally, as you said; the example was a level 40-something who's new to the game runs Zul'farrak and gets an item and sells it for money, that's 100% fine. But if you're streaming a farm of the items and you know that you're specifically going for the bugged drops that will net you insane profits and you're obviously going against the CoC then you are definitely at fault for whatever happens to . Not to say you'll get banned, if anything happens at all, but just because nothing happens to you doesn't mean you're in the right.

my opinion: i dont think if there was a bigger goldmaking channel doing the same stuff as the 3 mentioned smaller channels that wtb would have left them out.

Blizzard have a history of not banning players when they fuck up (if this was a fuck up). In TBC, they accidentally had some gladiator gear be free from the vendor that sells it. People bought it and used it. Blizzard then shut the servers down and just removed all those items that nobody could have gotten due to nobody being able to earn enough points yet.
Nobody got banned. Blizzard made a mistake, people are obviously going to see "free shit, omg buy buy" and it's on Blizzard to fix it. I see this as a similar thing. Maybe ZG trolls were just ZF trolls with higher levels and a different armor, so with the scaling the ZF trolls could drop ZG stuff. Blizzard saw this and thought it didn't make sense, so they fixed it.

Fair response. It's an unfortunate situation overall but I do agree with WTBGold on the original point of his video - one I believe most people are disregarding or not understanding.
In any case that a statement is made along the lines of 'this is too good to be true, you better make the most of it before Blizzard fixes it!' then I don't believe the statement shoul be made and making the most of it (whatever it is) shouldn't be encouraged or backed by comments saying no bans will be issued. None of us decide what constitutes a ban and none of us decide who receives bans. This time no actions were made against accounts that we know of yet, but there may be a time where a video is made exploring the next unintended 'bug' or something that Blizzard decides is an exploit and all of a sudden there's a community going nuts because they have temporary or permanent suspensions.
It's a grey-area, for sure - I just want to see the gold making & farming community play sensibly and safely.

i am not having a go at you, more just trying to put it into perspective for you.
i understand the statement that WTBgold said about if its too good to be true then its probably not intended along the lines of that.
but lets put that in terms of TSM sniper in your case, shouldn't sniping be an exploit of game mechanics and that the seller should have a 1-5 minute timer or something before the auction shows on the auction house. but because it doesn't the TSM app allows you to cash in on others mistakes on "too good to be true" prices.
i bought Depleted-Kyparium Rocket for 35s am i exploiting the game? am i exploiting that single player?
as players and goblins we can only guess what blizzard is thinking and decide for ourselves what is considered a bug/exploit and whether to make gold off it.
i was banned from WTBgold youtube/twitch so i was unable to reply so a friend posted my reply to him.
when i originally tested ZF in beta it dropped glorious breastplate (1 single item) and at 1 point dropped 30 lockboxes per run (which i reported as i thought that was a bug) after that i didn't go back to zf and none of the ZG loot was inside the dungeon that i knew of (didn't test too much)
with the glorious dropping i didn't see it as a bug/exploit due to blizzard making lots of changes with level scaling etc (could of made it scale like silithus post 7.3.5) so i left the dungeon alone and went on my merry way.
when 7.3.5 came i tested ZF as my 2nd dungeon of the day because glorious right? and was surprised to see the coins and bijou drop which at the time of course could of been intentional by blizzard because 7.3.5 and new races hype and everything with zandalari trolls and what? zandalari troll coins? :O maybe they were reintroducing the loot table there.
in the end its up to every goblin by themselves to make their decision because none of us is blizzard and for all we know it was intentional.

If i am farming zf and a glorious piece drop, lets say the leggins, i will never think it is a bug, is absurd. I will think hey, they change and now it drops in here. Same for items that no longer can be obtained i mean, not everybody knows if some item cannot be obtained in the first place, they got some drop they sell and thats it. There is no message starting the game stating that if you find this "item" you cant sell them or wherever, you cant be banned for a blizz mistake. Pretty simple.

wow, some is salty :P that other streamer dosn't want anyone else to farm the stuff so he can make all the gold and the stuff he sells stays rare . everyone needs to farm the hell out of the dungeons droping the stuff and mass sell the stuff undercutting him . You won't get banned , its not a bug or any type of exploit that can get you banned LOL WoW devs did this while putting in the new leveling system and its working like it should. they have removed some coins that was dropping , so that tells me they shouldn't of dropped. but they could of removed all the ones that dropped but let everyone keep the ones they looted or bought on the ah

I hate to see disharmony in the gold making community. We probably have one of the most friendly communities out there in the WoWverse and it's a bit of a downer to see any kind of hostility.

I was a starting out wow RUclipsr but from all the things I have seen from the RUclips wow community I stopped making videos and I enjoyed making videos but did not want to getting all the new found hate on RUclips... I don't see why it's so hard to just get along on the same platform.. RUclipsrs make videos to show us stuff of we take it in and use it then it's in our own hands to do so if if people was to get banned it's not down to the RUclips channel you watched or the person behind the videos.... Hope you read this and comment back
