Shoot, some of the early machinama stuff was amazing. Tales of the Past 2 was great, one of the best Ashbringer fan movies -- and then they made a 3.

It's sad that the work this animator has done can make me feel more for WoW then blizzard has for the past 7 years. Really puts things into perspective
True, true, true, I miss the feeling of playing the paladin in Vanilla, BC, Wrath and well...the immersive Paladin experience faded over the years and I miss it so much.
Also give credit to the incredible music both from warcraft and from software stuff... Music is a really big deal in what you feel!
Probably because it reminds us of a time when wow devs actually had clarity of vision and genuine passion for their craft. The iconic music and visuals are a big part of that

@Bloggers considering the current WoW feels like a slog compared to older stuff I can't really blame them.
I miss pre legion where the Ashbringer was actually a really loved NPC item in WoW and actually had story significance.
It still did in legion I’d argue the plot got it was even MORE important
Legion made it cool to upgrade and wield the Ashbringer.
But we decided to trade it in for Azerite

I don't even play WoW but I know that Patrick, The Pure is one of the most central characters that changed the entire plot of WoW.
As a ret paladin this is 100% accurate. We cleans the lands with our weapons and abilities given to us by the blessed light. And we will bring down wrath on those who shun the light.
Great to see the enthusiasm, now this requires to be implemented into our reality because the dark has been winning for too damn long.

@@stu.chainz not OP, but asmongold is basically my source of gaming, and sometimes not even just gaming, news. I can't stand reading news myself because it's deathly boring and i have to look for it. By following asmon i just get a ton of updates on relevant stuff in my sub box that's easy for me to consume. Plus asmon's react content is very entertaining! I can't stand watching his gameplay though, it feels so incredibly fake.
@@stu.chainz I don't like wow or every watch him play it outside of his mount tournaments maybe. Tbh I don't play mmo in general. He's just a fun guy to watch. Love his fromsoft series and I watch the ff14 story through him cause that actually seems pretty interesting but I'm too lazy to play it lol.
ironically, the reason that it was kinda epic is that the person who created it understand's WoW's aesthetic and vibe better than Blizzard seems to. WoW has a lot of really epic, cool shit in its lore.

Back in MoP I wanted a Warlock Tank. Have them basically puppeteer the Void Lord. We need more tank choices

I actually thought a lot about what specs could they add if they decided to do that. I thought about dual wield or casters paladins, tank shamans, holy dps priest.

The warrior one would be like a duel I did versus a mage. First you raid and top dps pve in a clasic raid in full epics. Then you duel a green greared level 59 mage and spend the whole duel frozen to the ground, slowly dying to frostbolts, while that almost one-shottable mage never comes in reach. Then again, warrior rooted has been done I guess. What more is there to it?

If they did another wow movie, i would want it to have focus on a paladin. They are badass. Rogue, warrior and hunter are all regular people with no actual magic(other than a few abilities but its not a focus of the class) Like a knights of the silverhand movie or something would be cool.

In wrath, I was destroying AB as full holy in tank gear. It was the most amazing thing in the world. That was the most amazing time I had . Like 50-60k hp, 20k int ... I was holy shocking TF out of ally ... and the straight INT stacking with the mp5 at the time was HOLY BUCKETS level of fun. Maaan good times lmfao.. those winged holy shocks were like going super saiyain

Healers DH is something i wanted since DH release, just rip soul shards off enemies and heal your allies with them or something. Evoker should of had a black dragon aspect tank spec.

I agree about the dragon class should have a tank spec. I mean isn't dragon scale damn near the same thing as plate armor? And honestly when it comes to the mages I would really like to see them do something like maybe with an Air spec, and give them the ability to turn into a bird like khadgar. And yes I know it's his staff that allows him to turn into a crow or a raven whatever he is. I'm just saying it would be cool to be able to do it as part of the spec
