    Looking to possibly grab these for my wife’s 48. She lost some of 3 fingers due to a blood clot a year or so ago so an easier pull is a game changer for her.
    Thanks for this video!

    I ordered these on my bike a couple years ago because of your video. Best purchase ever for my tiny hands! I will throw a shout to BlueStreakRacing (Canada) that sell these HD levers cheaper (no tax/no delivery cost) and the owner has way more options as well as color for you to chose.

    But I got my levers Aluminium silver with Gold Adjuster Knobs.

    Great product, man! I had LCHD install the same ones on my '21 Street Bob only one month after I bought the bike because I couldn't deal with the stock levers anymore. I got the brake lever, as well, and both have been game-changers. Another major benefit of the Oberons is the little crook/bend in the lever because I find I'm able to rest at least one (sometimes two) fingers at all times, which is particularly helpful as far as the front brake is concerned when in traffic and also for trail-breaking. For example, in thinking back to your Indian test ride in the rain a couple of weeks ago, the Oberons may have helped when that d-bag cut into your path at the intersection. Having your finger(s) resting on the lever could've translated into a fraction of a second to take up the slack and put the caliper on the pad and slowed you just a tad sooner. Glad you reviewed and endorsed.

      say they are for only hydraulic and not cable. How did you get it to work because I have a 21 street bob also

  • @Plumbermark
    @Plumbermark 2 года назад +1

    Well the levers do not change the force of course, the clutch needs a certain force to disengage it from the engine however they put your fingers closer to your hand when you pull and as we know your pull is stronger in that region so you can pull easier and for longer without it hurting, i recommend these for slow speed handling etc.

    Just ordered a set.
    I have a cable clutch bike but due to the AIM lockup I can’t really set the start of the friction zone much closer or it can get stuck in the lower gears when the motor is at high RPMS. Needs more clearance bc of those little fingers that push into the pressure plate when the thing is spinning. 3/4 turn out at the primary puts friction zone at a good place but can’t shift above 3k. Defeats the point of a 124 with a cam that fully comes up at 3500 for peak tq.
    One of these will let me set for clearance and not have to reach a mile
    Thanks for the vid !!!

But after a day of riding or in City traffic my clutch hand is just not happy. It's either these or the PSR but leaning towards these.

    Swap out the slave cylynder on the factory juice clutch for an aftermarket version. The take-up is right off the grip and you can hold it forever with two fingers!

    I like what I see but you would get a more realistic measurement if you placed your gage out where the fingers actually grab the clutch lever. The effective change will probably be less out in that area.

  • @freebehindbars8654
    @freebehindbars8654 2 года назад +2

    How does this change the force? Levers just change the location of the force, making it suitable for different sized hands. This is flawed.

    • @fvgc454ss
      @fvgc454ss Год назад +1

      Agree unless the fulcrum is changed its the same rather than im pretty sure most of these use bearings on the pivot bolt to reduce the friction so it technically is easier to pull

    Hydraulic style on '19 RoadGlide. I did not like it at all. Traded that bike (and it was fantastic) for a '21 Tri-Glide Ultra, and back to adjustable. This adj. clutch is by far a better user imo.

    I rely on this video when I bought my Oberon Levers for my streetglide 2019 definitely a crap , won't recommend it this Levers special the clutch side you can't start the bike in gear while engaging the clutch the lever do not press the safety switch far enough to engage the clutch causing a hard shifting while riding because the clutch is not engage

  • @Clammy69

    Does the length of pull at the lever, and thus the amount of clutch DISengagement, stay the same with all the levels?
