Back in the day as teenagers we used to head off on touring adventures on our old unreliable British bikes, plenty of breakdowns but we always got to our destination! It was great fun! For me, the reliability of modern bikes means you can tour on any bike you want to!
Another great video, Fuzzy! When I traded my 350 Meteor for a 350 Classic, the heel-toe shifter was the first thing I missed from the Meteor, so it was my first add-on for the Classic. It is a wonderful accessory.
My Halcyon Green will soon be going on it's first overnighter. It deserves a Motel and will be crossing the Ohio River 3 times, and possibly ferry across it also. I'm very envious of your new garage. My 5 bikes share space with a J D garden tractor and a 5×8 open trailer., and a 📻. Gets tight when alternating bikes for daily rides. Lots of room when I only had 2 bikes. More fun and options with 5. 🤪🤪
Well done-so good to see someone actually using a bike to GO somewhere rather than just a pointless blast on a round trip. My concerns are; 1. The bl***y awful weather in our UK summer and 2. I'm a fisherman and its hard to carry my gear, but I'm working on it ! Thanks-Tom
I don't live in the USA and so I'm ignorant of certain aspects of motorcycle touring there. Do you have any problems with wildlife such as bears when you camp? I'm taking my RE 650GT on my first proper ride tomorrow. Short trips until now out of necessity. I'll be doing a few hundred miles around Wales tomorrow. Probably reach the coast then ride around the mountains and valleys before heading back. Love your videos. They inspire. 👍👍
You can tour on any size bike. I never understood why you have to have a 900lb rolling couch to tour on. I rather find those little off the highway towns then get straight to destination tired as hell
i believe my tank is not right , my fuel light and new guage comes on at about 180 miles , and then only takes 2 gallons, and when i shake it does not sound like there is a gallon left in it, anyone else have this problem
@@forgottenmotorcycles They are good once you get use them again.I haven't used one for 30yrs🤣 but remember loving it & quicker gear changes. The 350 is the perfect bike for it & Baxter's probably sell them if not available from India or maybe Hitchcock's.
Show us your other bikes
Believe I've done videos on all the bikes in that room. May have to do that again. Wahoo!

This bike did it really well. Loved the ride, for sure. Wahoo! PS no breakdowns...
Thanks for sharing the adventure. Check out snake alley in Burlington.
Would love to ride/walk that!

I'm gonna have to have one too! Wahoo!
I have the halcyon gray ❤ I’ve done 500miles on it on a overnighter , delightful .
Love that color. Wahoo!

Sounds like you've got a good trip planned. I did outgrow my last garage. Love the new digs. Wahoo!
Surprised you didn’t it soaked with all the rain we been having here in Iowa.
All the rivers were out of their banks too.

Fun bike for all kinds of things. Wahoo!
not trip on a bike is pointless.
Thinking of adding Lomo dry bags for my next trip! (Pretty cheap and do the job).
The 350 is such a great bike! Fingers x for the 650 classic.
Hoping they do the Classic 650 too!

I've camped on the edges of bear country but have never had a problem with them...yet. Sounds like you've got a great trip planned. Enjoy!

Love this bike. Wahoo!
what happened to your Guzzi mr Fuzie?
Still have it. I'll do a video on it soon 🙂 great bike!
How is touring seat?
I have Signal color thinking to change touring seat also
If you ride long miles I would upgrade to the touring seat. It is firm and does add to the ride over many miles. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles thank you

I'm getting about 2.5 to 3 gallons between fills.
A decent road trip that one Fuzzy.A heal toe shifter be better.
I need that shifter. Wahoo!
