No slight intended toward the Super Meteor or the Himalayan, but roadtrips and reviews involving the 350 Classic are my faves. That plucky thumper just epitomizes throwback no frills motorcycling. Elemental joy.

This nifty 350 is one of the funnest motorcycles around....love it!

For a good sleeping pad thats lightweight and doesnt take up alot of room. Id look into the Klymit insulated sleeping mats. Especially the luxe and luxe SL models. Ive used them both in cold winter conditions down to 10 degrees on the snow and they work excellent. The luxe models are wider for people like me who roll and side sleep and being insulated they help keep you being cold from conduction. They are designed for backpackers. So should still fit in your camping kit.

Yes, I agree. Good friend used the Klymit on your trip to South Dakota. I'll check them out. Thanks!

i thought about putting the touring handle bars on , especially for the longer trips ,i do have a small windscreen on which does help

I think I'm going to get the windshield for my classic too.

Hello, which bike would you recommend me to use in a big city like Buenos Aires with a medium distance trip of 100 km around and sometimes carrying a passenger, the classic or the hunter, thank you very much for your advice. I say this because the classic seems to be heavier than the hunter. Thanks

Having ridden both, I'd say the Hunter for inner-city travel. It's so agile and the shorter wheel base and lighter weight really bike it fun in tight areas.

Been really intrigued by the classic lately, since I've retired it seems the desire for that type of riding has become all consuming.
