As a Celtic fan 🍀 I’ve got all the time in the world for Ally. A proper football man who’s honest, respectful & doesn’t take himself too seriously. Souness should take a leaf out his book who is so bitter it’s an embarrassment to listen to.

Had the privelage of living through the time he was at the top of his game. Absolute assassin CF.
Scales was immense on Sunday. By far the most improved player at the club since Rodgers came back. YNWA bhoys
so were Taylor and Bernardo.. thats why we needed signings. even if they don't come in immediately they lift the levels of the guys whose position they threaten. we needed competition for places and we got it. for once the board need to be commended for backing Brendan properly.
Genuinely baffling the criticism scales gets, keep in mind carter vickers missed time last season due to injury and our other defensive signings were lacklustre, AND we’ve started this season with 4 straight league clean sheets.
Some people just need to have something to complain about.
Scales and Taylor both played well on Sunday, are good guys and both always give their all for the jersey and never hide.
But we'll play 3 or 4 much harder games this season, maybe 4 or 5. And the left side of our defence will be targeted. Either those 2 or the signed competition will need to play as well, or better, if we want to make a mark in Europe.

I remember Joe ledley saying when he left celtic to play in the prem he regretted it. The pressure of winning every week at celtic is something he thrived on and when he played in the prem it was ok to lose and draw
Played in the prem is a very loose term for Ledley, wasn’t up to the standard to be frank. Probably why he ended up in the champo and league one, and struggled to get a game there

Celtic v rangers and River v boca are very similar in rivalry. Nothing else comes close to those 2 rivalries in terms of pressure or fan identity and culture. @reo41527 since when in the modern day game with Var does the attacker get the benefit of the doubt? Do you want them to draw the lines and it shows he's marginally offside and then give the goal anyway? Var was used correctly for a factual decision.
Ps - I genuinely would prefer the offside rule to get changed to Arsene Wengers idea but as the technology is just now he was offside.

The only photo produced for public consumption indicates to me and others that Kuhn was either onside or it was too close to call both largely depending on subjective opinion. Fortunately, the decision didn't affect the result but the way the 'offside' was handled by VAR was unconvincing to say the very least.

As a lifelong rangers fans the gap is as big as I have seen it - and I have had a long life. Rangers are 60-80m in players short. We are diabolical in every department as a whole with just maybe 3 or 4 decent individual players scattered throughout the squad. Decent but probably none of them would be starters for Celtic apart from the keeper - if he plays like he did last season and not Sunday.
A lot more than £50m is needed, they are in turmoil from top to bottom.
