I was a goalkeeper in my youth. Peter Schmeichel was a hero for me even though I wasn't a Man U fan. His performance in the 1992 Euros was the icing on the cake. I remember a picture of Kasper with the Euro trophy from away back then. Would never have thought he would be playing for us some 32 years later
Yet another easy going, laid back man in the mould of big Joe. And he's also still a great keeper, I watched him at the euros. Going to miss big Joe, but he's always one of us. Always welcome at Paradise. But I get the feeling we have struck gold yet again.
