Loads of fun and a great place to ride. 🤓 I was cringing when you was wiping the Tft screen with your gloves 😳😯 with all that sand. 🥂😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦
Haha I was thinking the same. Strangely though, the screen just doesn’t scratch. 🤷♂️
Now that looks like a fantastic mini holiday. Great fun and excellent to watch 👍🏻
Great video. That looks like such good fun.
Another fantastic vid. well done Richy and Pete
Thanks for sharing. That looks a cracking laugh. 👍
Fun to watch! One thing I need to learn is walking the bike so that was interesting to watch. Such a beautiful place, too. Holy cow!!! Those flies would drive me bonkers!!!
Thanks for an epic ride along with you two blokes. Looks like a load of fun riding and learning. Top notch training from the professionals. Great video 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
That was brilliant, except for the flies of course! I could tell you and Peter were having fun by the amount of giggling. Cheers!
Always amazing content here, cheers.
A great 2 parter, Rich. Great scenery, trails and of course, the big lads! Shows why you should never get rid of it!! Pleased there were no injuries too. Thank you👍
great vid again richy. looks like you and Pete had a great few days. will defo be looking to book this in the near future.
Looks mega! Myself and Helen are gonna book this in March, a great insight into what’s to be expected, Thanks Richy and Pete
Hello Richy…what a fantastic view from your bike, I’m a big fan of your videos from picos de europa and the series from Norway have I watched several times, but it was also very interesting to watch this video, it must be great fun to be together riding these roads with friends. Sorry if my English is not that great I am from Denmark, have I nice day Richy and give it some gas 👍
Looked huge fun, great set of vids fella 👍👍
Top quality entertainment again. 👍🏻👍🏻
great video as expected nice one riche
That was bloody awesome! enough said!
I think the little “taster” run we did in Wales has got your taste buds tingling!
@@RichyVida very much so mate. very much! I 😉
Great pair of videos that Richy, I thoroughly enjoyed them. Looks like an awesome experience, I’ll have to give it a go.
Cheers mate! Bloody fantastic experience, and it’s always good to have a “school day”, eh?! 👍👍
Honda UK can chalk me up as another person influenced by Richy Vida, to buy a CRF1100 Adventure Sport. 10 days till I take delivery of my own Big Lad!
Oh mega! Keep me posted! Congratulations 🥳
simply awesome
That was awesome. Can't wait for Picos.
You were having some fun in this...looked good. You dont need a friendly farmer fella, get them bikes on the TET you'll love it👍😁😁
I imagine that would be a completely different experience altogether if the man above had sprinkled a bit of liquid sunshine on the ground. Definitely looked like a great experience 🏍💨💨
Next time take Bruce with you!! You know just how much he would love to go off road 😂😂😂 Love the way you and Pete giggle. Looks like you both had a great time 💖xxx
As promised yet another epic vid still waiting for the out takes with Pete doing the trail on his bm #nutters 😂😀👍
Looks great fun , wouldn`t want to be washing those bikes after tho 🤣🤣
Loved that shows you what you can do with them when its not your own bike 👍
Video turned out fantastic Rich 👍🏻 Really shows how much of a great place it is with fantastic tuition. & what a giggle we had .
Glad you left out all the dodgy “one liners” 🤦🏻😉😂😂😂
👍🏻🏍👍🏻
you might have to do a over 18s outtake vid 😂😂😂
Hahaha defo a shame to leave those out! Mega trip 👍
What a couple of days. Lucky, lucky guys.
Looks like you had a great two days on Exmoor. You're theme tune never gets old I always find myself headbobbing to it
Oh thanks! It’s been aired a good few times now! 👍👍
Brilliant 👏 👏 lucky lucky lads 👍🏍👍🏍🍺
Bloody fantastic....
Yet another great Vid....
Brilliant
Looks like you ready for the TAT, next year!
the witching hour is sooo true, when i used to do downhill mountain biking the golden rule was NEVER say 1 last run
Nothing beats off Road riding.Thanks.
I concur!
Top draw again fella's,loving the crack between you two,,,(that does not sound right)but you know what i mean,i dont think Martins ready for that one just yet do you ??
Ride Safe Mr B \m/
Those flies! At times, it looked like scenes from Hitchcock's "The Birds".
Steady can get monotonous, but it gets you through in one piece!
Not seen much of Egon is he busy working
Great videos! I would really like to attend one of those training courses at the Honda Adventure Centre.
It appears you are ready to bring your AT on some more gravel adventures? How about a trip back to Norway, this time bringing the ATAS and explore the Norwegian TET lines? I did most of the southern lines this summer - opted for my CRF250L over my 20' ATAS DCT due to weight, unknown roads and riding solo. The ATAS would have been fine on most of the roads, but I am happy I only had to deal with the 250 in some sections... You can find some footage from my trip on my channel if you need inspiration...
Thanks I’ll check it out!
Good bike for sweden
Looks a good crack that 🏴
They really look a cracking bike. Seriously thinking of off loading my vfr800 for an African twin in the new year but hard to part with the vfr800 🙈🏍maybe a vfr crossrunner???? Toughts Richie 👍
Never* get rid of the VFR!
Great video Richy. You need to try the BMW off road course in my neck of the woods in South Wales.
Yes. Hear great things about that one, too. Must give it a shot!
You need to look at the Mick Extance Off Road Experience in Mid Wales Rich. That will totally open your eyes.
Nice one, I will! 👍
Great video. Would love to do that. Is that centre there all year and after a few goes bett them bikes go cheap lol
I think it runs all year. They defo take some abuse!
Great video two questions, are we going to see your twin off road more?
Is Pete convinced to swap his Beemer for the Twin after this experience ?
I take the AT off-road (nearly) every time I take it out! Na, Pete is a GS man. Although he did say he felt the AT was more capable Offroad. It’s a beast! 👍
Sounds like charlie boorman and his side kick could use a course down there.
Hi richy, good video yet again, but what's happened to egon.👍
Nothing.
Another thing to add to the bucket list… this is getting expensive 😂🤪
Can’t put a price on life experience 🙌
Cracking trip - must do one tlike this
re the land permissions question - you are welcome to use my land for a rideout no problem.
..................Just be aware its my garden and its about 15 meters x 15 meters total size :-)
Hahahahah I got excited then! Haha
Great 2nd part. Out of interest did you borrow their gear or use your own? Not sure my white GT air 2 would be the same after that.
I used all their gear other than lid (due to camera set up)..
Have you done the Mick Extance Experience in Wales? How do you think they compare?
I haven’t 👍
@@RichyVida You must. Very similar but on Enduro bikes rather that big touring adventure bikes. Have done it dozens and dozens of times and have a great time everytime.
Cheers! Will give it a look 👍
Richy, great video series. Did you happen to notice what tyres they had on the AF”s? I’m interested to see how hard core they were. That is 50/50 or 70/30 type tyres?
Cheers Steve.
Yes, they had the Bridgestone AX41’s on. Which is what I moved to for my first set on knobblies. Awesome tyre. Lasts 2 minutes, though!
@@RichyVida They look good for the off-road stuff. But how did you find them on fast twisty tarmac riding?
Richy, that was brilliant mate, well done.I done the triumph tiger off road in 2016 and that was great too. But I must say the Honda course looks more detailed and better. I will definitely be doing it as I am planning a UK to Himalayas and back adventure when things are open again fully and this course would be invaluable. Test rode the africa twin AS manual a couple of times and absolutely loved it so will be chopping my Vstrom 1000xt in soon for 1. One question Richy, did you find a noticeable in weight between the DCT and manual? (10Kg between them) Thanks for the great video. Subscibed.
Not at all
Cheers mate, I must try the DCT before pulling the trigger, Your opinion is imortant. Love your upload.
Mega...good. MegaBITE...bad!
Rich did the bike feel any different to your adventure sport model, feel lower ?
No, it’s the same height. Mine just a tad heavier with the bigger tank. Mega machines off-road!
Good way to make lots of cash.
Was this the level 1, 2 or 3 course? Thanks
It was the full adventure weekend. So we started with the very basics up to full-on stuff. 👍
Was that the level 1 or 2 your doing there
I think we progressed into level two on day 2..
