- This Eternal Howling Abyss deck runs no champions or followers. You control the board and summon units through spells until you can play the Howling Abyss and pray to highroll champs like Jhin, Aurelion Sol, Jarvan IV, Vladimir, etc. Very meme but super fun!

This reminds me a lot to a deck from Hearthstone, wich is purely spell playing, and those spells have some benefits or secondary effects if you build the deck with no minions. It was fun to play. I hope Riot do something like that here.

What about playing without using The Howling Abyss? Then how do you win? Unitless control exists in other cards game I've played, and each time it relied on powerful expensive spells with direct damage as finishers and smaller spells that summoned units to substitute for the lack of actual units.
The only card i can think of that would do enough direct damage is wildfire
Cards like Winter's Touch SET THE COST to 1(or any other cost) and that CANNOT be changed by any effect, either positive or negative.

Buried in ICE is the perfekt card why pvp turns of So manny players. This game has such a high Power lvl on cards that u get blown out with little to no counterplay if u dont play this game for a long time so "noobs" get frustrieted and leave. Its the same consept then elusive. Riot copes that its an intresting game Mechanik but all it does is ignoring the enemy bord and turning your bord into burn that can also block if needed.
I know it's an unit, but this deck is practically begging for a Corina.
