Finally! I didn't buy the watch yet because I couldn't understand how to make it work. So basically, the JJYEmulator and lots of patience. Thanks a lot lad.
No worries! Trust me, you won’t be using it anyway, it’s too accurate and indeed needs a mile of patience if you’re not in Japan! I’m thinking of getting the green version btw, It’s that good!
Hi Gullie - thank you for your effort to show how to adjust this watch outside Japan. So if I understand the matter correctly, I sync the watch with the App to the Japanese sync signal and after this is done, I adjust the timezone I live in - France for instance - by hand. Correct? Thank you for your time & support.
Just turn on the app, no need to sync, the watch just needs the signal from the app and press the manual radio signal button on the watch which is located at 4 o’clock. It will automatically sync to the time in France.😊
Ok, you can adjust the hours by time zone pressing the indented button. What about the date? Because Japan is a day ahead of the US if I’m not mistaken
@@gullie9004 thanks. Got the watch. 5he second hand just sits at the H marker and nothing happens for several minutes. Ever experienced this or any suggestions?
@@gullie9004 Yeah I noticed soon after posting you have edited the clip 😅all good it finally worked ☺. I now also know that my hearing is good to upto atleast 60hz 😬. Thanks again for helping!

It’s best to do it during the day, when it’s sunny. How many times have you tried it? I’ve just done mine yesterday since I haven’t used it in a while. And it worked perfectly.
If you don’t use it, or keep it where there’s no Solar charging. It’ll stop, Then you’ll have to do it again. If you’re always using it,Eventually, the accuracy will deviate but you can just sync it again. If the accuracy doesn’t bother you then you’re good forever. :)
Cannot find a JJY Emulator on app store, just a JJY Simulator and it’s all in japanese. Is it the same app and/or functionality as the JJY Emulator? Thanks!
When i downloaded the app, I couldn’t find any on the appstore so i used my android phone for it. So, i’m not sure if it’s the same. But if it’s to emulate “jjy” then there’s no harm in trying.
Yes it should, it depends on how much signal you’re receiving but if you’re lucky, 1 try should do it. I’m in Australia and it takes me about 4-5 tries. It takes a while 😂 but it’s worth the wait seeing it automatically adjust.
@@gullie9004 iam in Indonesia. I just followed manual instruction and also this youtube but always failed at the point to choose day after completing setting date. Not sure why.

Thanks for sharing, but does this model not support the European radio time stations like DCF77 in Frankfurt or others? 😢 Cheers from Germany, Bernd
For those who found this vid after buying a jdm citizen. Mine took like 15 mins to fully update/sync. Really cool seeing the hands just go wild lol
H-10B movement btw, there's an english manual for the H-100, H-10x movements online

I have this exact same watch, the PMD56-2952, an Excellent watch it is too! So far, I know of THREE other varieties of this watch...
Where did you download the JJYEmulator this APP?
Where is the review video for this watch? What is the watch reference number/model?
Very informative 🙏🏻
Very interesting watch great review also
Thanks,Pat!
Black is better than the green?
So you can adjust the time for your own zone or it will only give accurate "Japan time".
It will adjust to your “own” time. :)

This watch is easy to set manually.
When I do it like you explain it, the second indicator jumps to NO not to RX. What is wrong?
