Isnt it really easy to kill a plant by mistake? Do they really come as expensive as watches??
@@DoveSharma oh, you won’t believe how similar plants are when it comes to “rarity” and “hype”. Try googling a “rare plant” and you’ll see 😂
Speedy
Love the watch, seen it in store in person and it is stunning, both dial and bracelet. The only bummer is the lack of on the fly micro-adjustment at this price point with 41.5mm case size. What is even more bizarre, the micro adjustment is present but only in 43.5mm version, wtf Oris…hope they fix it soon
A great review. You also mention the proprietary bracelet link mechanism - good job!
Thanks you for the video. I just ordered an Oris Aquis Caliber 400 in green and in blue as well as the Rado Captain Cook in green to be delivered my local store in Germany. They are both great watches and both have similar shape but their own unique distinctive style. I am very excited to have a direct comparison. The only thing that I find not so cool about Oris is that they have their own mechanism for changing the straps that makes the watch incompatible with regular straps.
@@dimi-ro whew, what a treat getting 2 watches! And i agree about the bracelet! It would’ve been nice if we can swap it with any strap, and i also don’t like the rubber strap that oris provides, not a big fan of straps with an “in your face” brand name😂
@ I must have misspoken. I meant that I ordered them through the website to a local branch to try them on. I've already tried them on. I like the green dial color of the Aquis better than the green dial color of the Captain Cook. Overall, the Oris look more massive and rough than the Rado. I have a narrow wrist and the Captain Cook fits me better, so I chose this model.
@ By the way, you might be interested that on Etsy you can buy an adapter for Aquis to use standard wristbands. Google for Etsy Aquis Adapter.

Hi. I want to buy this watch. How is the accuracy until now?
@@Umut-t4c i’ve never checked how accurate it is but i’ve also never noticed any big deviation, so i would say it’s good.:)
Carrera > Speedmaster 🏎
Excellent video. You highlighted several things other professional reviewers haven't: 1) the colour difference between selita and calibre versions - this is huge. If you got blue of each, they look different 2) the size comparison, which you demonstrated isn't that big between 41.5mm and 43.5mm. Very useful. I want the blue but having seen the green it's very attractive also.
@@bodrulm1 did you get 1?:) it’s the best time to get it since there are discounts! It’s a really good value for your money especially if you buy it with a discount!
This watch box is already hella expensive. I can't imagine buying something even more expensive than this
The measurements are wrong in this video lug to lug of 37 spirit is only 45
Great review of a beautiful watch. Crown was signed on the previous versions of the Alpinist-odd Seiko chose not provide a signed crown on this version. Band looks like it is solidly built.

Almost got this myself but it was slightly too big for me. Great looking watch.
The fumé dial is wonderful, great purchase! How’s your Glassbox getting on?
@@randombloke10 indeed, and the glassbox has been performing well and is still gorgeous as the first day i got it. :)
@@gullie9004 great to hear, mines held up really well, the finish hasn’t picked up any random scratches yet so I’m well impressed, it’s doing better than my older Calibre 5 Carrera for sure. Mine seems to be sitting between +1/+2 seconds a day at the moment so I’m very happy with it 😄
@@randombloke10 i’ve stopped checking the accuracy of my watches😂 as long as they are not absurdly inaccurate, i’m happy. But have you seen the new speedy?! What a tempting piece! I wonder if you like that one too.

Youre wearing it backwards 😖
It looks so goof with the bracelet tho. I personally would get another model with at least 42mm.

Comparing a Speedy with one that has the word ‘Tag’ on it… 😂
If you get to try these on your wrist side by side you’ll be surprised by how you’re likely to prefer the Tag. Its proportions are much better.
You say you don’t enjoy the daily “chore “ of winding the speedy as it can be time Consuming in your busy day ? Firstly it takes barely 30 seconds to wind it to full capacity, secondly you are missing the whole point of a manual wind watch. It’s exactly that relationship of winding and interacting with it that makes it so much more than an automatic piece. You become more connected with it and you develop a more personal connection with a manual over the auto and it’s a reminder of how things used to be. It’s a romantic nod to the past in this fast paced , evolving and forever rushed climate , I for one enjoy that 30 seconds or so I take to wind the speedy and set me up for My day ahead , but hey that’s just me , perhaps I’m old fashioned.
@@dazlarg good point, but don’t get me wrong. I do love winding my speedy, and i miss it whenever i don’t use my omega. It’s the times that i am tired and preoccupied with work that i tend to forget to wind it and i prefer doing it early in the morning which i forget on most days. And these days i would wish that the speedy is automatic making it feel like a chore to wind it. I know it takes 30seconds out of my 24 hrs but it’s a thought that comes to mind when i pick up my automatic watches instead of the speedy. Hence, the question of whether to keep the speedy or the Tag if and when the time comes that i have to part ways with one.
@@gullie9004 I do mine every morning , like doing my teeth , it’s part of my morning ritual and I love it …. If I don’t wear it for a few days I still look forward to being the giver of its life again and putting the life force back into what I consider an epic and unrivalled piece. I love the carrera too , but it simply cannot hold a candle to the iconic look and history of the speedy and that’s exactly why you should never sell yours .. that would be a mistake.
Price = Carrera Looks = Carrera Size = Tie Functionality = Carrera Proportions = Carrera Water Resistance = Carrera Durability = Carrera Bracelet = Omega Movement = Carrera History = Omega
After owning both and reflecting on which one to keep, I've come to the conclusion that the Heuer has a better design, and it's less boring. It is also more unique compared to the speedy.
Why pick? I have both ;)
@@Chris_BQ 😎😂 exactly,My guy! 😂and that’s why i have them both too .
I own the speedy but the Tag is really nice. Either.
people who complain about winding a watch are not real watch enthusiasts
@@track-n-trace are you a real watch enthusiast?
I'm pretty deep and I've got to be honest I get a bit fed up winding my speedy
Yea but if you're gonna pay a premium for antiquated technology...pay the most advanced outdated technology lol
Purely based on looks I give the dial to tag and case to omega.
I'm a big fan of vintage Heuer chronographs. The lugs, the pushers, the dial. Everything is so pretty. Not a fan of the moonwatch. I don't like the short pushers and the plastic handset.
Speedmaster, and it’s not even close.
Carrera!on your wrist(I have the same size) look perfect!
Speedy 0 doubt about that
Speedy. No contest.
The speedy - every day, all day.
Nice video from this Carrera owner! Which width Artem sailcloth did you pick for the Carrera? With/without quick release springbars?
@@AuricPilcrow 20mm with quick release spring bar. I swap the green and black between the carrera and the tag. :)
@@gullie9004 Awesome! May follow suit....
I tend to agree I would take the carrera over the speedy for the dial and box crystal alone. But as you know we have, it seems, very similar tastes ☺️
@@johnrb9397 glad to know i’m not alone😎 if only the lume on the indices on the tag were bigger. It would’ve been better!
@@gullie9004 Yea, I'm a lume snob... that is the biggest downfall of the Carrera. I have an Aquaracer which is nuclear in the dark but it's so big and clunky on me, I don't know if I can wear it all day.
Only in Japan right...doesn't work anywhere else
