Was in a Cartier boutique a week ago with my folks looking at the Cartier Santos for my mom. We left empty handed as we couldn’t decide whether to get the white dial or the blue dial 😂😂😂 Both just look so good in person! The white dial is classic Cartier, can’t go wrong with it, but the blue dial is just amazing in person. But, I have told my mom to go for the dressier blue dial as she already has an everyday watch in the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date.
If i was there, i’d be convincing your Mom to get the one with a white dial! But i agree, they are both gorgeous esp. for women, the blue one would be a contender! 💙but i’m rooting for the white one! Hopefully she picks the white! ⚪️or you get the white and your mom gets the blue! Win-win! 🏆
@@gullie9004 It will probably be the other way around as my mom seems to be leaning towards the white while me and my dad liked the blue more 💙 But for now, I’ll be personally sticking to the $1,000 - $2,500 price range. There are still quite a few watches in this range that are on my shortlist to get (mostly Seikos and Tissot), even below $1,000 such as the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto. This slow but sure climb up the price ladder is fun for me as I want to be able to fully appreciate all these different watches.
@@elijahdelacruz3204 wuhoo, white dial for the win! 👏 and i think that’s the proper way of collecting watches, not jumping on the expensive side right away. I don’t have any “real” expensive one but in my experience, i still enjoy my seikos more. There’s a satisfaction in not caring if you’ve scratched your watch, or if someone notices your watch or not. And cheaper but good quality watches gives you that feeling. And i can’t wait to see the 35mm tissot in person!
@@gullie9004 true, there is indeed a satisfaction in not caring about getting your watch scratched up. Also, that mother of pearl white 35 PRX Powermatic 80 is just gorgeous 🤤 I’ll definitely be getting it, that alongside my Alpinist and Ice Blue Powermatic 80 would make for a killer daily rotation (and for more formal wear as well).
