I just bought one half hour ago, looks and spec's are identical to yours different name (ferrex 3,6 li-ion) On charge now!! The driver feels well made and sturdy for the price unbeatable, Makes all other outlets a rip off, Highly recommend thanks for sharing 👍
I have one too , purchased about a year ago still working fine also have a bosch IXO both work great little difference in torque in either . Seeing it on sale again in Aldi Ireland 20 Euro.
Mine is working well but mine is from around 2011, it has Torque settings like a drill and also you can turn on the light manually and I have used it as a Low Brightness torch. You can still see your way around the yard in the dark with it. The bettery check is also a little push button on the top.
If you countersink first, then drill the hole in the center afterwards, you wont get those hexagonal holes. It's a bit counter-intuitive - but countersink first.
I have the Aldi drill and jigsaw and they work just as well as name brands. TTI in China is the manufacture of most of the name brand power tools in the world, everything from Milwaukee to AEG and the quality of the top brands are just so much s**t. Good score Keef cheers!
Hi Keef, bought one earlier this week, so far so good. I to have a Workzone drill and bought mine on the back of it. Like you I found the bits and drills supplied to be sub standard. There is a footnote in the manual that recommends that you use a screw driver when the torque increases at the end of screwing to prevent motor overload. Subscribed, nice informative video. Cheers!
Seen this for sale last night at 14 euro and didn't pick it up because I thought it'd have no torque. Thanks for the review, going to go pick it up now.
ive got one of these and mine is garbage the cordless drill is excellent though.ive got many workzone tool and all have been up to par apart from this one.
God I moan constantly there is no aldi or lidl past Jacksonville Florida the nearest Aldi is about 4 hours away from me in Alabama. Aldi do seem to have random useful bargains keef however, I just scored a black and decker cordless for $49.00 and a crap load of other tools that came with it in the Christmas sale mayhem so basically got enough project tools level, hammer, drill bits, Brad nailer, tape measure, plyers, allen keys and loads of others plus a tool bag to put it all in etc. for free or vise versa. Honestly didn't need the tools but they might come in handy when the kids move out one day 👍
i love mine. its never let me down. i left it unused for about 3 years at one point and the battery was still fully charged.

It seems that all of Aldi's power tools are now branded Ferrex. I'm still loving mine!

Hello Mr Krasker

I have this same screwdriver. I bought a Makita B-28531bit holder to go with it. It holds the screws magnetically to save using 2 hands.
got one of these and its a very useful piece of kit
Isn't it though? I use it all the time!

Lucky you! I've been using it a lot and absolutely love it!
How do get the bit out of the drill? mine seems stuck!
Umm, it's just a magnetic hexagonal bit holder - don't see how anything could get stuck...
If anyone can help I'm looking for the charger voltage output ?
the uk plug is 5.5v output 🙂
